how do i get that lil glowey effect? you use sai2, right? isnt there like a brush or texture for that or sum? idk.

I only use sai 1, but yeah there is that glow effect
although my method is pretty time-consuming

make 4 vector layers like this, then change their opacity value, from the top layer down :
- 100%
- 75%
- 50%
- 25

then choose "luminosity" mode on the top, right above the opacity

color them from brightest (white) to darkest, also in order
- 100% : white (always white)
- 75% : base color
- 50% : base color, darker
- 25% : base color, even darker

then, change their size : choose the "wight" option and the edge shape as follows : top-bottom => smallest-biggest

for me, I choose these values
- 100% : white : 15
- 75% : base color : 25
- 50% : base color (darker) : 40
- 25% : base color (darkest) : 50

and the result would be that white shape you see

soooooo i got what i think i want it to look like, but idk how to get the glowey affect. or like the lil' glowing stream of light. kinda like this. alot of characters have this glowey- eye stream effect, but sans is the easiest to find.

ok so i re-did his eye, and what do you guys think? i also know it looks kinda plain/odd, but that's cause i still dont know how to get that little glow stream coming from his eye. anyone got suggestions for the 3rd set? keep in mind, they will both be draw identically, not just one eye. feel free to make suggestions!

bro i genuinely dont know what to do with his eyes xD

like no designs look right. im using a six-sided symmetry ruler, btw.
