It looks like an old Brazilian prophecy from the 19th century is slowly taking form in my country, and it can be roughly translated as "The desert will become sea, and the sea will become desert"
My region has always been infamous for the drought periods and mass emmigrations, whereas the Southern region had an abundance of water sources. Now, all the newspapers say they're suffering their worst drought in 91 years, plus the risk of blackouts (given the reliance on hydroelectrics), whereas we're exporting energy to them (from wind farms) and experiencing unusual amounts of rainy days
