in japan kirby box arts would always have him smile, while the west would always make him angry or serious

Also, one more. This one is just so bizarre. The "Puzzle Bobble", aka "Bust-A-Move" games star the cutesnuggly bubble dragons from Bubble Bobble, Bub and Bob. The original boxart for Puzzle Bobble 2/Bust-A-Move 2 looks like this:

.....So of course, the American version looks like this:

Yep, that's definitely totally in spirit of the game, a disembodied head with matchsticks stuck into its eyes. Well done. Nailed it
