After his release, Lenago left the area and moved to a different state. Lenago's casino was very successful but later collapsed due to his negligence and lack of management. Lenago's former accountant was sent to jail. Although Lenago was eventually cleared of all accusations, Lenago, having a reputation for always lying, ended up changing his name to Lenaga and started a new career as a bounty hunter.
