There's a lot of variety, but it is either spiced mulled wine and/or spirit, or similarly spiced fruit juice, drunk hot. It's a traditional wintertime drink here in the Nordics. There is a freaking plethora of different combinations of wines, spirits and spices. I personally love the stuff, I am drinking some right now :3
