The animals turned to see a little white-and-grey ball roll in. As they stared and sniffed at the ball curiously, it suddenly expanded, revealing four little rat-feet, a pointy rat-snout and a long rat-tail, as well as many other rat stuffs. It was Meta, the rat! He was really very handsome: his ears and his whiskers were so fluffy, and his paws and tail so long! The animals in the room just looked at the new arrival in a wonder. They didn't know what was going on; they didn't know that here was another Meta, their Meta who was lost. The one and only Meta who was lost! They didn't know that he was really theirs, that this Meta belonged to them, that he had become so big and strong, bigger and stronger than ever before. It didn't matter. Everyone felt the same thing: a little bit frightened, a little bit confused, and a little bit happy that at last they had found him again. They all crowded round Meta. They stroked his head, and tickled his ears. There was a lot of shouting and a lot of squeaking, the squeaking of delighted surprise. And finally it was time for breakfast. It was a delicious breakfast. Everyone loved it.
