sweetie, I got beaten up, laughed at, made fun of, and taken as a total joke, 24/6, all the time from secondary school all the way to high school, from beginning of 6th grade all the way to the end of 12th grade, for being a total idiot in almost all subjects except english
by almost every single one in my class too, and then some from other classes, no less

but I'm not telling this to show you I got it worse than you

I'm telling you that shit's always gonna look like it's the end of your life at any moment

but one day, you'll not be surprised if you make it alive by the end of the day, you'll EXPECT yourself to make it, KNOW DAMN WELL YOU CAN MAKE IT, because you're tougher than that

I was the same, quiet, just got on with my work, reasonably smart (average grades in everything except history for some reason), not too many friends. Picked on by a group (it's always a group because individually they are basically cowards), school was hell.
Twenty years later I'm back in the area and I run into the ringleader, he's massively unfit, never been employed, lives off state support. As for his gang, two are dead (one while drunk driving the other in a drug deal which went bad) the other two are in prison for various petty crimes. By comparison I'm doing pretty good.

So yes, I know this isn't a good time for you, I know things look bleak but hang in there you will emerge far stronger than a pile of future Karen's and internet trolls could ever be.

Karma may take her sweet time but...she NEVER misses.
