Waluigi Land was a very sad place. It was the site of most of Luigi’s childhood, and Luigi had his fair share of heartbreak there. He didn’t want to go back. But his best friend Charizard had been with him, so he knew he had to at least try. To be honest, the thought of seeing his childhood home didn’t make him happy. It didn’t make him feel like anything was different, and it didn’t even make him feel like he wanted to go back. He just felt like he wanted to go somewhere new, and that’s why he and Charizard went to New York.
