I'm doing just fine in the swamps of the countryside, doing the remote work thing, and I can't stop "merping" for some reason today. MERP.

That's good to hear! How's remote work for you, yea or nay? People have some mixed opinions on it, I know I would love it myself.
And you smell like cheese for some reason. Maybe it's the merping...

I've not been up to much this past year, couldn't really adapt to online classes so I was kinda stagnating throughout most of 2021. Thankfully, 2021 is behind us, I'm feeling better about myself this year and I'm getting ready for classes in uni again. (Maybe one day I'll be as great as @Ravofox, the great essay slayer...)

Ahh, that's more languages than I can understand already. My languages pretty much boil down to just Portuguese and English. I can understand some Spanish (just don't ask me to form a single sentence, I will fail miserably), but other than that it's just some words here and there. Mas seu português parece bem compreensível, então fica tranquilo!
Though I imagine Japanese should be pretty hard to fully comprehend, I couldn't even begin wrapping my head around hiraganas and katakanas.

Ahh, that's more languages than I can understand already. My languages pretty much boil down to just Portuguese and English. hehe actually same! I know some random words in random languages like from zulu (aka lion king's cycle of life's sun opening lines, language "Nants ingonyama bagithi baba"), na'vi, klingon, guaraní and etc lol

hehehe oooh actually the katas and hiras are super easy! those are just the same syllabary with 2 variants (consonant + a, i, u, e or o)
some "sa shi tsu se so"... actually "ka ki ku ke ko" is easier as an example xP

you reeeeeeaally need a good memory for many of them! haha

and for the rest is just a language that lacks genders, plurality, future tense and focuses more on formality and particles
japanese and many other asian languages are easier than ours actually, if you don't count the scripts and tones(for others) lol

To me it's a resounding YEA
I mean, working remotely is an expected setting in translation, and I enjoy it. Works for self-contained minds like mine. As for the cheese... I guess there's still some crumbs all over me...
