Really, filling up the pokedex in Arceus is a hard task with just 241 pokemon alone,imagine doing this with 1000+

At first i was hopping for a natunal dex in Arceus, but after finishing the dex in the game, im glad there aint many more, its a hard task

Its not easy, you just dont capture a pokemon and its done. In arceus you have to do tasks like

Capturing a certain number of the same pokemon
Feed it a number of times
See it use a move a number of times, ect

Each task done gives you 1 point (marked ones give you 2) get 10 points and the pokemon dex for that pokemon is done

You don't already have overworld Pokemon models from the old games, the only game we'd have for that is Legends Arceus. Besides, it's more than just models: movesets, locations, stat adjustments, putting them on more than 1 opposing trainer so you actually have a chance of running into it in game if you miss it in the wild... etc.
