Ooh something like 2 duolingo levels, or in other words, the basics only 'Ich sprach simples Deutsche freund!'
and also know some words as Zeitung, Pferd, Apfel, Kartoffel/Eerdapfel, Beere, Getrank, Blau, Wiss and other random basic words
I'm still confused with the "das, die, der..." articles btw lol
(Oooh gotcha! maybe that would be easier for me hehe, I don't have the modified keyboard of my other computer so I have to switch between languages

Interesting that you've learned the term Erdapfel. I think it's used that way in Austria? In Switzerland we call them Härdöpfu (or Härdöpfel, depending on the dialect).
Oh there's no real logic. Only way to learn that is a lot of training. The cases don't make it more easy xD

On Swiss German PC keyboards, I actually have no idea how to type an ß. It doesn't exist. Swiss keyboard layout is different from the German layout (and then there's a Swiss French layout too).
While both German layouts use QWERTZ, the special characters (%*'!?) Are positioned at different places (of course the US layout is different again) xD
