Swiss German is vastly different than "normal" German. Many Germans don't understand Swiss German properly ^^I like to learn new words hehe
Härdöpfu/pfel is a very interesting word~ I thought you'd have almost the same words
but it seems like spanish in a way, as for example "papa" and "patata" are used depending on the region, it doesn't changes much, (unlike words as corn: 'elote' in mexico, 'maíz' in "standard" spanish or 'choclo' in south america, which change a lot) but its still similar :3
Ah we just have a key that we have to press first to create an ñ or so ^^ooooh wow! that's a lot of changes! xD
the spanish one is like the english one actually, the only difference is that we have the "Ñ" added in! (J K L Ñ) and also the diacritic "letters" that let us modify our vowels (we have the ümlaut too! and also some more)
but the spain spanish layout also adds some other characters that let them write in other languages! something like 3-4or maybe 5x1! it adds other letters as portuguese "õ, ã", portuguese, catalunyan, galician(? and french "Ç" and also some others too! :3
Interesting~!Swiss German is vastly different than "normal" German. Many Germans don't understand Swiss German properly ^^
And there are many dialects of Swiss German, practically each valley has their own dialect.
But we use "normal" German for formal letters, newspapers etc. But with friends, we usually write in Swiss German.
Oooo nice! ^w^Ah we just have a key that we have to press first to create an ñ or so ^^
I hate to disappoint you, but Swiss German won't help you in SwedenI love to learn about this hehe, and also will be useful for when I go to sweeden hehe ^w^
Here's an English video that shows the differences a bit ^^I wonder how much different it is, and if it could be considered as a different language already?
*wakes up feeling happy**rubs belly*
*uses the ñ to make a piñata*Ah we just have a key that we have to press first to create an ñ or so ^^
Ehe.... Sweden and Switzerland are two entirely different countries, hehe... don't accidentally travel into the entirely wrong country now, or anythingInteresting~!
I love to learn about this hehe, and also will be useful for when I go to sweeden hehe ^w^
