Really, I believe Mauricio de Sousa has done an astounding work of bringing knowledge about the world and our culture to children here
Precisely what I think! I mean, sometimes there are also stories with very serious tones. I remember being a 10-year-old reading about world wars having destroyed a distant planet.omg!!! he added okapies too?? AAAAAA that's so awesome <3 <3
in my opinion, I believe he has!
honestly he didn't only bring up lovely and funny stories to life, but also finds unique ways to teach and as you say bring knowledge to the kids without it clashing on the story flow! (only literal clashes, bangs and crashes lol)
I really love that!!! @w@

Woooaaahhh~!!!Precisely what I think! I mean, sometimes there are also stories with very serious tones. I remember being a 10-year-old reading about world wars having destroyed a distant planet.
When the astronaut protagonist was visiting it, there were no more signs of radiation and the air was still breathable, but he couldn't detect (observable) living beings around. So he found this spaceship-shaped bunker with creatures, plants and anthro aliens in a sort of state of suspension, liberated them, learned their story and how they ended up there as part of a scientific plan to preserve life, and they finally prepared to rebuild their world from scratch.
In the end, the astronaut wonders: "Will my people have a second chance like they did, or have we had it already?"

I love those kind of stories, but I've never seen that one from Monica's gang :0
(I need to read more, but still)
That story reminds me of Svalbard's seed storage and the moon's dna back up projects :0
Truly, Monica's world(*Cosmo voice* universe!) Has a lot of stories and lore to offer!
Dawwww <3
Sweet fox uwu

Makes me think of a fictional, fantasy tale of the sun sacrificing his color to give it to earth, the sky grateful due to this act, decided to gift the sun 3 colors for him, yellow, red and a very rare to see green
It is totally plausible that this is actually a tale somewhere, but I dunno if it's one, so I call it fictional-fantasy for now lol
I, the exiled prince of the Eastern Empire in Constantinople, of the house Angeloi do henceforth declare war on @lenago s various places of residence. Que army preparing/marching montage to dramatic epic sounding music.I think you've surpassed the meteor, but the previous posts suggest that we've had +9000 elephants going for his house today. You'd probably need to convince your entire army about declaring war against his house if you want to show some competition
Do you know the title to this story? I love this kind of thought provoking science fiction. Have you read Ray Bradburys Martian Chronicles?Precisely what I think! Can't recall the title unfortunately, it's within one among hundreds of Monica's comic books. I doubt that there's even an English version of that storyDo you know the title to this story? I love this kind of thought provoking science fiction. Have you read Ray Bradburys Martian Chronicles?
