When I was over there (my god that was a year ago! ) I found and interesting looking shop on Google maps 'Captain Cookie and the Milk Man' in DC unfortunately the heat and my stumpy little legs prevented a visit but it's on my list of things to do when I go back.
(Although they are apparently more famous for their vans than food)
