Oooh I see! we also use that term! "Frutos del mar", but we don't have the same word play as you do, as we also say "Comida marina" although that one is very hard to find!
we usually call those "Mariscos" :3

(there's a similar word to that "Maricón" which roughly means "faggot", although no one relates them between each other, or else we would have similar situation of double sense here lol xP)
