I just hope it doesn't hang around for a week like last time. The hospital ran so many tests and scans, found nothing so sent me home with painkillers and the diagnosis of "it's probably muscular".

It's a recurring thing. This is about the 5th time it's flared up over 6 years. There is nothing else the hospital or doctors are willing to do - they just supply me with morphine.
And there is nothing I do differently from my usual routine when it does flare up. It's weird.

One of the things they checked for. I've had ultrasound, CT scan, x-rays, urine tests and they found nothing. Every doctor said the same initially - based on the level of pain and location, it's the exact symptoms of kidney stones. Everything comes back negative.
