Thank you, fren~! As far as I could see, there's also Spanish (Spain) to English, and Japanese to English. I just happened to find out about it by checking on their testing page, but haven't seen any official announcements yet

I passed both Spanish and Portuguese to English multiple choice assessments, but feel completely incompetent in Japanese lol. So I'm left with Spanish for the full translation test that I'm not doing today as I'm tired already uwu

To clarify: there are three tests. First one is multiple choice; second one is standard translation, and third one is pro-level translation. Passing Standard test is enough to work for the company, although you'll earn less than half what you'd get as a Pro translator, and projects tend to be directed towards more general audiences. Currently, I'm just a Pro translator in the English->Portuguese language pair

You live in a meritocracy! :3

Fursonally, I can no longer get myself interested in learning new languages, I mean at all. The whole idea is all sorts of uurgh :D
I'll just stick with the ones I know now :3

It depends on the agency, but I guess this one has a more unusual approach, as CV and references aren't part of the decision-making process. One also gets very few, smol jobs in the beginning, even if they pass both Standard and Pro tests. It takes a while of being regularly evaluated by a language specialist and getting good scores to have access to a higher volume of tasks and bigger projects :>

Your languages are Finnish and English, yeah?

Oh, and since we're psychedelifying things:

Huh, water! Fun!

Roots claws into the ceiling, slightly petrified of the rising waters.

S-so, anyone wanna explain the water?
does not explain with words

however, uses the drawing on the water surface to summon a rubber duck through some magic path, knowing i don't really know how to do this

the rubber duck looks the same above and below water

aaaa

adds anti gravity powder to coffee, after using water powers to put it back in cup

also works for drinking coffee underwater, may contain up to 5% dark magic by serving (does not cause anti gravity to people)

also has machine pre harvest your toxins so the water does not become toxic(you can ingore this if you want)
