but yea fiber optics are great
... at current location its 10mbs for 50usd, but thats an old plan, new lines can only br 6mbs for 50usd

And yeah, in fact I believe we were a bit too behind the times *sweatdrops*. I mean, that old provider is already offering fiber optics and cheap 200 mbps in my area as well. But in any case, they're almost unanimously considered to be the worst Brazilian provider among the four biggest, and it's within the top 20 worst companies at ReclameAqui (website that records client complaints about services and products provided by companies. I've filed complaints there a few times; works wonders for problem-solving when we run out of choices~). It's followed by this icon:
