Predators and Prey

Ah yes, I played those too! Genesis ones are similar, as in 2D platform gameplay with different zones, special stages, monitor power-ups and stuff. I think the main reason I like Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles is the fact that they were part of a childhood with loads of happy Genesis Sonic memories more than anything. Also you don't need to play those in order to keep up with a story, as each has its own

Icecap Zone music from Sonic 3 is my definite favorite, probably alongside Flying Battery Zone. And Metropolis from Sonic 2
As for the zones themselves, I'm not sure. Casino Night from Sonic 2 perhaps!...Or Carnival Night if you don't count a certain rotating platform
My mom was against video games when I was growing up until my brother bought me one of those Sega Genesis consoles that come with all the games already in it. Sonic and Knuckles was my favorite Sonic game on it. My other favorite games on it was Mortal Kombat 3, Shinobi 3, Shadow Dancer, and the Ecco games. I have fond memories of that console.

Young'uns... I was almost a teenager when "pong" came out.
Who would of guessed that would lead to a fat italian plummer jumping on turtles and eating mushrooms.

A blue super fast hedgehog fighting a eggshaped man with a wild mustache

A yellow ball that eats fruits and ghosts

And a cute pink ball that eats everything and often butts heads with a big penguin holding a giant mallet.

As well as: a ninja warrior that can wield fire and have one of the most memorable video game lines ever, out to avenge the death of his family

An adaptation of the DC Comic "Injustice" comic books which would have cutscenes that could be a movie on it's own and be even better than most of the actual recent DC Comic films

A man going into a shopping center, taking on hordes of zombies and clinically insane people, all to the end of protecting his daughter

You, the player, being sent into a dark creep film studio and a toy factory to look for trapped survivors

Last century was really the century of surrealism and absurdity, and it has escalated to the point of no return

Oh, and let us not forget. . .

. . .a man who we only knew as Steve who had the strength and the ability to take the environment around him and turn it into what ever he wanted, making friends along the way who were willing to go along for the ride and help him build to his heart's content with very few limitations, all set to one of the greatest soundtracks to ever be put in a video game.

A YouTube commenter once described the soundtrack of Minecraft as "The feeling of wanting to go home, but not knowing where home is." That hit me right in the feels; that's probably the most accurate description I've heard for Minecraft's soundtrack. "Subwoofer Lullaby" matches that description really well.

No, it's one of the OGs. If you heard it, you'd recognize it. It's probably case of you've heard it but never knew the name of it.

OMG it's that one???

I love the sweet nostalgic feelings I get from this one
I remember when I was playing on my first time, and I was trying to build something in the jungle, that little peninsula I used to go through, it was super laggy but it bring me memories of when I was afraid of monsters at night and I wasn't skilled nor un-lagged enough to protect me myself. I think this was one of the first songs that I heard on my nights at the crappy house I made <3

it also reminds me of these times when I was lost in the middle of nowhere and, somehow found my way to home, it's like.. a calming lullaby for a woofer indeed <3
