.: Guifrog's Odyssey Travel Log #6 :.
Sooooo, where am I? Where's the Odyssey ship? What about Cappy? Crap, I'm f&@%ing lost.
Okay. I don't know how I got here. The Odyssey is too mysterious for me. Or maybe I shouldn't have pressed that button. *blushes* Anyway, since I'm here, how about I explore before entering full panic mode, right?
First thing I did was check on those floating sparkles. Once I tried to catch them, this messaged appeared:
...
I should've known. I'm dead. There is no Purgatory, Heaven or Hell, at least not as far as Dante Alighieri would tell me in the book; rather, a
duck is telling me I have reached the End of Time. But... I can recall being killed other times, this looks so different - why is my body not white and gaseous? How can I scare unsuspecting people if there is nobody around? Why can't I fly? All I see is stars and nebulae, and this mini-square that seems lost in the middle of nowhere. Also, how do I still have my camera?!
*sigh* See, I don't know what the universe did with the death design, I'm ridiculously confused. Death v2.0 is like an entirely different software, and as always, there are things I love and hate about the upgrade. Already miss the ghost thing. And the soap bubble matches with Little Casper. And going through salt water without being affected. And the list of good ghost times goes on towards infinity, probably just shorter than
@lenago 's list of probable identities.
Moving on, I turn to the other side, and...
...I find a spaceship! But I'm dead, so is this like, a vehicle that drives us to one of the spiritual planes I mentioned earlier? In such case, before I push
any more buttons, let me just take my camera with me. (I hope Lord Axolotl doesn't mind me taking pics of him, heehee~)
Ayyy I'm SO EXCITED!! Huh, apparently in this death upgrade we can still feel a bunch of emotions.
I CAN ACTUALLY CONTROL IT!! WEEEEEE LOOK AT THE SQUARE DOWN THERE, I mean, is that down? Or is it up? What are those circles of light? Where does the gravity even...
...B@ing z00m!!!?!
I d-don't know anymore, GYeaHOHOheGeHE!!1!11eleven!! I does da licc on the squ4re, it taste like air!! :0
Ugh, enough, gotta stop this ship already. It's actually pretty easy to maneuver, so I just take the steering wheel and go back to the square.
I mean. I managed to return without dying again, so that's nice. Although, I wonder, if I died again, maybe that means I'd get back to the world of the living beings? Not 100% sure I should try it yet.
This is an empty area of the square, accessible by the door shown in the first pic. The sparkles behind gave me a new message, telling me I should go to the glowing circles. Y'know, all of this almost looks like one of my occasional hallucinations caused by arm licking.
Well, here I am! These columns make for some very cool pics, hehe. But more importantly, when I enter one of them, this weird voice inside my head appears and describes a time period where I will be teleported to, as long as I desire so, and in the same place where I was before coming to the "End of Time". 12,000 BC? 65,000,000 BC? 138,534 AD?! You name it. Since I'm dead, I figured I had nothing to lose, but at the same time, I disliked Death v2.0! All my thoughts were in those minutes before I pushed that damned button and made the Odyssey ship go nuts... Which means?
Exactly, I returned to that very moment. Cappy was there, as if nothing happened. I don't
feel dead, never did, to be frank. This is certainly going to be a trip I will never forget, whether it was real or not *shrugs*
~~ End of Travelogue #6 ~~
(P.s. I absolutely had tons of fun driving the Epoch ship. Too bad there are no other interesting places to go with it, this world is amazingly well done!)
