Oh wow hahaha the vila is looking full of life with each day buddy! I am loving it.: Bits n' Ribbits #1 :.
I'm taking a break from the weekend trips this time, and thought I'd enjoy my own surroundings a bit. Allow me to show you around as I go out in this little gem of Mushroom Kingdom, and enjoy the occasional shenanigans directly from my neighborhood~

I hope you like my postcard. Pic taken while standing on one of the polka-dotted hills, then treated at home with some Photopea filters. But it's cool because you can see a good portion of the place, with the Toad houses blending together with Koopa residences, plus Luigi's cable car that sends you to many points in the Kingdom, from Toad Harbor to Koopa Beach to the central area of Peach's Castle.

This is my street. If you were here and saw me talking about the store before, you might be able to recognize it in the distance. Also, these rock blocks and "?" cube, that "resets" every day with coins or those red mushrooms that give us a little extra height. Light poles are powered by Power Stars, adapted to just generate luminosity at night. Koopa and Toad houses are built from different materials. Weather is fine, 25° C at that moment. 10 km/h winds, and... Ok, let's move on.

My Yoshi and I went to the square. The double flag is a symbol of diplomacy and friendship between the Toads and Koopas (hence the shell and mushroom icons), despite all the disasters and mishaps that have previously affected their relationship, thanks to the long-lasting war between Mushroom and Koopa Kingdoms that is highly unlikely to end in the foreseeable future. Or, at least, as long as Bowser remains in power, some say. But let's not get into politics, that's bad on the forums! :>

Kinopio's Cafe is the breakfast spot for the toads who live here. It tends to get more crowded on winter, and they serve a very peculiar 1-up mushroom infused tea, aside from the normal coffee stuff (that might or might not be followed by mushrooms to eat).
![]()
On the other side, there is Nokonoko's Gelato. This very courteous koopa serves ice cream, milkshake, ice pops and all that's cold for the hot days. Needless to say, this place gets more crowded during summer. But today was a sunny day, and I was craving for something refreshing, so I stopped by for a lava-flavored (???) sundae. It didn't taste like rock or smelled like sulfur dioxide, thankfully; twas surprisingly good, like I was eating a simple orange ice cream. Chemistry here works differently somehow...
While still at Nokonoko's, I spotted something a bit unexpected, to say the least: two koopas practicing soccer passing in the square. That would be interesting enough, if it wasn't for a small catch:
Was I just going to sit down and watch things unfold? Noppity nope:
![]()
I didn't know koopas did that. Twas fun!
I also got an idea from you guys last Wednesday, and figured I'd try out something while I was at it:
![]()
If I look like a turtle, gotta be a team player!
I asked one of the koopas if it was alright to lend me a shell for a minute. So he actually asked if I uh, lost mine. ...To sum things up, he had the brilliant idea of eating a red mushroom, so his shell would match my stature. Results approved, but he kept looking at me inquisitively on multiple occasions: "Are you sure you're not a koopa?"
I did feel Yoshi's tongue hitting the shell. Only found out what it was after seeing the photo, as he would deny any act of mischief. (The koopa who took the pic said nothing either =w=)
Welp, that's it for the moment. Hope you enjoyed it!

[OOC P.s.: I have discovered the magical world of 3D animated scenes in Unity, and don't even need to render them into VRChat; it's also possible to animate my own Guifrog model. That's how I made the kicking gif - inserted Guifrog model, played with the rigs and keyframes, voilà, I have a custom Guifrog animation! The kicking action wouldn't be possible without this, as my headset doesn't feature leg tracking.]

Oo, interestingg.... it makes sense that your headset does not feature leg tracking.... you need a legset for that.
