Predators and Prey

Really ratty rat
Like final fantasy tactics and Fire Emblem?
FFT was actually pretty good in this regard, although the different altitudes of the field sometimes still tripped you up. I was thinking more along the lines of western RPGs, which often used hexes without letting you see where they actually were, often making everything a bit challenging tactically.

As for FE, I never got into that series, because it seemed like it was so filled with scripted events and secrets that felt like it was essentially "read a walkthrough: the game", ehe :3
True that, one of them really got my goat
I did not even know you had a goat :O
I hope that your goat and the other goats are happy together :3
Much understandable! When it comes to immersing ourselves into combat-heavy experiences, static characters and enemies like those in Phantasy Star can feel very drowned dead
Actually, combat is not so important, what I really like is the exploration that 3D enables in RPG/action adventure games :3
My favorite is 3rd person, behind the character POV, but first person is also good :3

Don't know why you have that white pattern on the legs like you're wearing boots, or white boxers, but here's a possibility
I see someone has booped him :O
Also, nice rubber boots, they go well with the tuxedo :3

Ehhh you are not wrong about that, not sure about modern games, but the older ones really had characters you could lose if you dont take a especific party member to battle. Its a bit ehhh really

I was invited to their wedding next week...but the yeti will also go.. so. .yeahhhh i will just stay home

Forgot to tell, that happens in my game too... crushing by a giant stomp. Oh well *shrugs*
But you could try building your house on the mountains to be safer, as the giants can't climb the- *recalls the yeti incident* uh, in fact. Nevermind
Ooh He could also try a volcano.... Yeah nonono
That's a bad idea talking about... Lena-him owo

Perhaps @Lenago could make a batfox cave? OwO

This reminds me that Sims 1 used Comic Sans, isometric style, and had a precious cumbersome interface that looked clunkily good, or goodily clunky... Our sense of aesthetic has definitely changed

Well I like those personally, in terms of nostalgic charm~ Except for the isometric style. Especially now that I've been diving deep into 3D and virtual reality
Aww that one looks pretty charmy and nostalgic :3
If I'm not mistaken it is from Nintendo DS right?

I like the cucumbersome style tbh hehe :3

I don't mind the isometric POV in simulation games, whether it's life simulation like The Sims 1, or business simulation like Transport Tycoon or, say, Theme Hospital. But when it comes to RPGs, I prefer the immersiviness of 3D (or just good ol' text), or in combat-heavy turn-based RPG games tile graphics which makes tactical choices more obvious.
yaay, preferences! :3
Aww yaaay!! Preferences :3

I also don't mind it on simulation games or in preview views hehe
In rpg games I usually like either 3D immersiveness or a very lovely retro 2D style personally :3

For strategy, I agree
I was on about the sense of "feeling there" in a combat. But that's subjective - Person X may feel more immersed by the 3D factor, Person Y might feel the timed pace that enhances strategy plays a bigger role for that, and some games may have a good balance between the two to please both tastes. So the point was, a person that's more immersed by the 3D factor and the graphical movements might tend to feel Phantasy Star as drowned dead
Not that this applies to my case necessarily, as Phantasy Star was special for me for a diversity of reasons

Nope~

Nope, The Sims (the first one) was for the PC :3
It just looks crummy because it's old :p
There was a version of The Sims 2 for the DS, though, but it was different from the PC version.
Oooh hello there Lenago!!! :3

Oh, so that's why he's wearing those boots. He was cleaning the pool. with chlorine. *nodnod*

Ooooh! I See! OwO
I'm only aware of the newest Sims 4/5 as well with GTA V :p

I like the crummy look though haha

Oooh how much different?
I'd like to try it out on my dad's pc as the emulators usually weight less than the own pc games haha

Oh, so that's why he's wearing those boots. He was cleaning the pool. with chlorine. *nodnod*
Yeee!! He's dapper even cleaning up pools!
I'm glad to see he's starting to enjoy the Pantry's commodities hehehe :3

(Little fun bit of trivia:

Originaly i wanted to make a gag where it was revealed that Lenago is actually wearing shoes and that he has normal looking feet/paws. But i scrapped that, finding that the pad like feet was more fitting for Lenago's cartoony nature)

(Awww that's a really fun trivia deary hehe

It would have been a really surprising plot twist tbh bahah
I love his pad like feet paws, he's a lovely cartoony foxxo hehe

Personally even though I like paws I find it easier and endearing to draw lennys pad paws, even if I haven't done any full body Lenny pics haha)

It has a plot, for starters, and quests :O
I have not played the NDS version, but apparently your task is to build up a hotel. It seems like a very different experience from the sandboxy life simulation that the PC version of Sims 2 is :O
Yeee!! He's dapper even cleaning up pools!
I'm glad to see he's starting to enjoy the Pantry's commodities hehehe :3
And why wouldn't he, with the world-class yogurt spa, and the world-class communal ratpile :3

vaporeon character != mushroom characters
Can I have a hug?
possibly, but vaporeon character has short arms(semi anthro design is as close to vaporeons form as i can get and still allow item use and talking)
