Don't ask me, either. I'm an alchemist, not a geneticist. Most of these alchemy recipes were written down by people that were so high on mercury fumes that it's a miracle they could even write or breathe. I usually just refine them by altering the amounts of ingredients while throwing random crap into the pot and seeing what happens. Which is a vaunted alchemy tradition *nodnod*

"being temporary, they likely suppress your genes and use their own set, although its possible they just bring transformed protein and such with them, and transform your bodies new proteins into rat body parts, and don't alter genes at all, as they were off without much of a trace, although the instructions to alter your bodies proteins likely counts as genes itself)

he neglects to tell you that before becoming a glaceon, there was a small chance of becoming something visually human again through evolution, but that window of time has passed, glaceon genes were selected along with many human genes to create your current form

debates using a SCANNER to test the tfed rats, but the high powered SCANNER type is a bit damaging to skin ... and blood
