Regarding Patreon and auto-payments, as a patron

Does anyone here, who is associated with Patreon, have any word on rumors of one-shot payments as opposed to a monthly payment plan?

I work gigs, and barter my skills and my labor for my housing and such. Because of this, my income varies widely from month to month. I don't set auto-payments for anything. I have wanted to support artists, here and there, with what I can afford when I can afford it. The monthly payment issue turns me away.

Its one of those things that the artist chooses when they set up the account and for most, it makes sense to just have monthly subscriptions. If the artist doesn't set up one-time donation links/slots, there isn't much you can do.

I would totally message the user if you could, though. Let them know there is interest, so maybe they'll include at least a donation links on their page or something.

Thanks, both of you. One artist told me that the monthly payment plan is the only option through Patreon. Sounds like I was misinformed.
