Requesting a Color Artist for three pieces.. Two NSFW

I have three commissions done by three different artists at anthrocon this year and still waiting for more. I am expecting to have another finished piece ready to be colored rather soon. For now i have three available pieces that need coloring. My budget goes up to $100. That budget Is Flexible as well depending on the examples given to me.

I will gauge and decide which artist to pick so please post if anyone is interested. I may only pick one artist per piece or request they do all of them depends on the agreement.

Please be sure the artists have given permission for you to have their sketches coloured by someone else.

I was about to say the same thing. It's best that you get the artists permission, as you may have paid for the art, the artists still has the rights to that art.

Most artists would not allow you to commission someone else to color the art that they've done for you, as they feel that it is taking money out of their pocket.

I dunno so much, I've frequently commissioned art from people with the express purpose of colouring it myself later. I usually find that, so long as you're up-front about what you want to do with the piece, most artists will take it into consideration and, where necessary, work your requirements into their price quote.

On a different note, I might be interested in doing some colour work (assuming permission *is* given) but would definitely want to see the pieces first so I could tell if it was within my level of ability.

I specialize the most in coloring services. I start at $40 on up (depending on complexity - because I also heavily modify images for more painterly work)

I think coloring it yourself is a little different from paying someone else to do it.

Right now i am waiting it out a little before i really choose whom to commission. I love everyone's art. I only wish i could do it myself however i cannot find time or patience to do it. So i buy them >.>... ^^
