Scope:
* replace a failing hard drive in the database server
* take inventory and re-label hard drives in the database server
* major version upgrade of FreeBSD on all primary servers
* rebuilding installed packages post-upgrade

Reason for delay: rebuilding all installed packages took unexpectedly long. Several build errors due to libevent and curl.
