Hey, folks!
I've recently started delving into science fiction books and quickly fell in love with the genre <3 However, I do not know many good titles, and my thirst is far from quenched hahaha
SO, I would love sharing my recommendations and getting to know some from you. I usually prefer hard sci-fi, but all suggestions are welcome!
I will try to keep this post updated with all the titles and probably a link to the book's Good Reads page, so people can take a look if interested.
THE LIST~
My recommendations:
Hyperion (Hyperion Cantos saga, 4 volumes)
On the world called Hyperion, beyond the law of the Hegemony of Man, there waits the creature called the Shrike. There are those who worship it. There are those who fear it. And there are those who have vowed to destroy it. In the Valley of the Time Tombs, where huge, brooding structures move backward through time, the Shrike waits for them all. On the eve of Armageddon, with the entire galaxy at war, seven pilgrims set forth on a final voyage to Hyperion seeking the answers to the unsolved riddles of their lives. Each carries a desperate hope—and a terrible secret. And one may hold the fate of humanity in his hands. (from goodreads)

The Three-Body Problem (Remembrance of Earth's Past Series, 3 volumes)
Set against the backdrop of China's Cultural Revolution, a secret military project sends signals into space to establish contact with aliens. An alien civilization on the brink of destruction captures the signal and plans to invade Earth. Meanwhile, on Earth, different camps start forming, planning to either welcome the superior beings and help them take over a world seen as corrupt, or to fight against the invasion. (goodreads)

We Are Legion (We Are Bob) (Bobiverse series, 4 volumes)
Bob Johansson has just sold his software company and is looking forward to a life of leisure. There are places to go, books to read, and movies to watch. So it's a little unfair when he gets himself killed crossing the street.
Bob wakes up a century later to find that corpsicles have been declared to be without rights, and he is now the property of the state. He has been uploaded into computer hardware and is slated to be the controlling AI in an interstellar probe looking for habitable planets. The stakes are high: no less than the first claim to entire worlds. If he declines the honor, he'll be switched off, and they'll try again with someone else. If he accepts, he becomes a prime target. There are at least three other countries trying to get their own probes launched first, and they play dirty.
The safest place for Bob is in space, heading away from Earth at top speed. Or so he thinks. Because the universe is full of nasties, and trespassers make them mad - very mad. (goodreads)
