Should "Ponies" become a community of it's own?

Like how furries emphasizes on anthropomorphic animals, do you think ponies should be its own community, simply emphasizing around pony characters? It would be different from bronies because bronies are simply fans of the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. For just ponies, it could be more of a general community, just like furries. People could create their own pony worlds and characters. Other races like griffons and dragons could be part of those worlds among the ponies. The pony fandom can do things that bronies can't, like being able to make published works professionally. That's the thing about such a fandom, people of such a fandom don't have to worry about copyright laws, because everything that's made are by the artists themselves.

Some good examples of pony media is the Pathfinder campaign setting, Ponyfinder. Also, there is a trailer for an animation called Midnight Mares.

If ponies can evolve into a big general fandom like furries, I'm sure it would have lots of potential for great content.

Can we have separate bathrooms for the pony fans? Separate but equal of course :>

They already have a community of their own - They already do pretty much everything you've listed above. Whether or not you call them bronies, is the real distinction.

If its not MLP related then its ponies, and furry kinda encompasses every anthropomorphic species, so no.
Equines suck anyways.

But not Bronies

Uhhhh....

What would be the fucking point, in that case? Versus against a community for foxes. A community for wolves. A community for felines. A community for stoats. And on and on and on.

Hint: There honestly would be no point except to have a community for a different species. So--why just ponies?

Ponies have had their own community for quite some time. It just so happens that there are Furries who like Ponies and dragged that inside the furry community.

I remember when I was embroiled with ponyfaggotry. They really are furfags with a different coat of pastel colored paint...but with more overt manchildren undertones.

Personally I don't see the need to have ponies being a separate fandom... cause I've seen dragons/sharks/scaly creatures on plenty of furry forums before. Except are those counted as an extension of the furry fandom and not necessarily a /part/ of the fandom? I don't know. But say the ponies get their own extension of the furry fandom, what would we even call them? Hoovies? Horsies?

Its the hooves that confuse. Its like what to do with their feet - they give them hooves for the back and hands for the front...and that just don't look right. Messed up.

Hand. Cannot. Erase.
So lets make a world for ponies, in which every other species can exist and hope ponies (nonbronies) will overtake foxes and stuff and become big enough to sustain itself.

Ok.

I'll make a world where idiots don't exist and just sit there and hope all of this just goes away.

Before the MLP crowd came along the only thing horses were good for was giant cock porn. Creepy giant cock porn.

I am not the answer
I'm assuming that OP is talking more about MLP fans who are over 18, so I'll address that first. I believe that there's a few MLP conventions that are starting to pop up here and there. Most are probably small but one or two are getting bigger now. I think it's safe to say that bronies have their own fandom thats growing. But whether or not they want to be apart of that fandom is up to them. Just like being in the Furry, anime, marvel, DC, Twilight, or Star Trek fandoms is our choice. Not too sure if Ponies, or people with pony or horse fursonas who aren't MLP fans, would consider themselves as a whole other fandom. Although there could just be a general mystical creature/fantasy fandom out there that includes talking horses, griffons, dragons, centaurs, and Faun or Pan like beings (who are half man and half goat), pretty much anything out of Narnia. But I'm not too sure if the general fantasy genre personifies animals with human characteristics much as us furies do.

But anyways there's a MLP fan club in my area that is, last time I checked they're super exclusive private secretive Facebook page, about 100 strong. There's about fifteen furies that I know of here in my area. Should I be afraid of that or something?

Ponies and Furries are just stains in the used matress of imagination. I don't have a problem with either as long as they aren't obnoxious, whiny man-children who take hissy fits when you dont care about their fetish.
