Ground was clear yesterday Just finished shoveling snow that was up to my knees/higher.
Luckily I don't own a car so I just had to make a walking path.
Hate it? Love it? Post pics of snow that were taken by you (snowmen, fur angels, etc). No random stock images please!
Let's make the Americans jealous and count their blessings at the same time!

I'm not sure what you mean by Americans being jealous as some parts like the great lakes it's not uncommon to see over a meter of snow!

Then again I don't see snow as an American because I'm in a warm climate (Florida), but I hate snow anyway, can't say I'm jealous. :V

Some places in the U.S. get lots of snow, so we don't need to be jealous. Just depends on the regions of the U.S, because its a very diverse place because it is so big.

The record deepest snow where i currently live is 90 inches give or take, but I've only lived here about 3 months so there's that.

I can relate to the cold though. Before this winds were awful. Couldn't walk across the street without my whole face freezing.

We actually have more on the ground at this time then we did last year surprisingly.
I don't mind the snow really, it's those low temp dips past -20c I could do without.

Snow is horror for me. I didn't get knee-deep snow, but every week the same thing happens: it snows, the next day the temperature rises and the snow turns into water, the next day the temperature decreases and everything turns to ice, every week. However, sometimes you can see such beauty

I'm in one of those areas in the US that can often see over a meter or two of snow throughout winter, but it tends to go in cycles and this is one of those years where it's slow to start. As in, we got our first really good snowstorm yesterday.

I really dislike snow. It's cold, it's difficult to drive in, gets everywhere, when the weather is warm the snow becomes all wet and squishy. It's really gross when you're in a city and it gets all exhaust pipe-y brown and muddy and sand or salt is throw on it to make it easier to drive on but a nightmare to walk through.

Snow can stay in nature and on the mountains and forests as much as it likes, I don't want it near me in a town.
