So any other gun loving furs out there

Certainly love guns, but somehow I can't see myself getting one in a hurry even if I do live in Shottingham (used to have the highest gun crime rate in the UK 10 years ago)

Thanks! I'm a big fan of Soviet-style small arms as they're usually utilitarian and certainly do their job! My next AK purchase will be a DDI underfolder, though that won't be until my tax return. X)

What's the market for AMD-65's like?

Yeah, you could say that. My collection's pretty small at the moment though.

* S&W 40VE for home defense (because the next one isn't exactly suited for that)
* 1943 Lithgow-made Lee Enfield No. 1 MkIII SMLE, all original and all matching, with shitloads of patina. I'm 99% certain this thing saw combat, though I couldn't say where.

Looks like the price went down, it was reaching upwards of $700 not too long ago -- nowadays $550 seems reasonable. I'm honestly not sure what caused the spike though, the gun industry and trading scene certainly has weird moments. Are you looking to buy or sell?

Well that is miraculously cheap in comparison, it was more just out of interest since I liked the look of them,
would buy one in a heartbeat if it was a viable option though.

It's certainly not a bad pick, I've heard great things about FEG guns although they most certainly don't follow the standard patterns. Personally I'm hoping to grab one of the DDI underfolders next tax season.

Whereabouts are you? If your location is actually in Australia, then you have my deepest sympathies. :(

I have several guns. Pair of Colt SAA Peacemakers, a pair of Marlin 1894 leverguns, a Stoeger Coachgun, Remington 870, 700, 1100, and another Remington that I can't remember the model of. I have a Remington Rand M1911a1 dated 1943 that did see combat, a Glendfield Marlin model 75 22lr, Henry survival rifle (AR-7), A Springfield XD40 service model, and a couple of others I won't mention.
Currently looking at getting a small 9mm like a Sig P938, Ruger LC9, or the like. Also on the market for a M1 Garand.

May all your bacon burn.
I just have a lever action .22 that my grandfather gave me. It's mainly used to get rid of gophers in horse pastures.

I was expecting to see BlitzCo here. From what I understood guns make him hard

Yes I'm here, and I have a raging boner. :V

But in reality, I have a Marlin .30-.30, a Mosin-Nagant 91/30 (1943), a S&W .357 mag, a S&W 9mm, and a Remington 870, although I don't own one, I have used a M4 and an AR-15 before.

I plan on getting a Zastava M-70, a Mossberg 500, a 1911, and an AR-10 in the future.

They're okay guns, these Zastava Tokarev models. You'll have to do some work on the hammer bit to make the action smoother and to avoid FTEs/jamming. The certainly do feel nice in your hand, though!

One of the problems with regular AKs with me is that the stocks on them are too small for someone my size, I like the fatter stocks on the Zastavas.

If any of you want more info on a firearm you want, here's a site for you.

I like firearms, I find then fascinating but my mom said if I got any she'd disown me so I'll have to wait till I get my own place to own any... and also go through the loads of paper work associated with getting a gun licence.

the amount of red tape for getting a gun license depends on the state you're in

Oh, I was referring to the hand guns.

Though I'm a bit on the shorter end of the spectrum and the Yugoslavian AK stocks give me the infamous "Yugo Cheek Slap". I've fixed that with both a collapsible M4 stock and then I finally bolted on a Yugo M76 sniper stock for a nice and flat approach. I will say the ARs are great to shoot because they're typically accurate out of the factory and there's almost no recoil. I've heard plenty of joke about Warsaw Pact stocks are the length they are because Soviet soldiers are tiny or some such; the AK's supposed to be a carbine which would explain its length.

The only thing holding me back with now is the lack of disposable income in appropriate amounts. If I were a wealthy man I'm sure Atlantic Firearms would know me on a first name basis. x)

There has been talk recently about the new Adler Lever Action Shotgun import and restricting it's availability because it's
a "rapid fire" weapon with a "high capacity" magazine, go figure..

I dunno what it is, but the idea of a furry owning a gun makes me nervous. Not for me, but for everyone unfortunate enough to be near them when someone blocks them on their FA profile for being a creepy stalker who wouldn't stop asking for free gross fetish porn. Not really a bunch known for not being a bunch of mental cases.

I always thought that the Aussies would have a strong gun culture like here in the southern US, I feel sorry for any gun owning Aussies.

In my experience, people who really hate furries, usually feel threatened by the idea of a furry with firearms. (I had one tell me that furries don't deserve to own guns).
I want an assault weapon so I can go hunting and kill those deer in the back who mess with our garden.

I hope that your definition of a "assault weapon" isn't a semi-automatic AR or any "scary" looking semi-automatic rifle.

That sounds rather specific and reads like a troll post.

And then there's this guy.
