Strange Dreams

A while ago I started keeping a dream diary, because some of my dreams are fucking hilarious. Forgot about it for some time and then just recently rediscovered it. Thought I'd share an excerpt and invite the rest of you to post similar crazy dreams.

I had a dream that I posted a commission I got from someone on FA and then in the comments half the site started giving me a history lesson on furries and furry porn and at one point one of them said there was a whole script for a furry porn movie written by a soldier during the Vietnam War but it was left in the mud over there when the US pulled out, and that's why Vietnam is so calm on the world stage today because they don't want us coming back over there with that shit

Falling through the air and while falling, Daniel Craig and Judy Dench are also falling and sat perfectly on chairs with a table falling at the perfect height so they can sip tea.

This was after watching Skyfall.......

Days after wishing to get a certain album by Joyce DiDonato, I dreamt of her in a pale gold dress singing this with a group of cheerleaders dressed in pink, black and yellow, with some really gaudy pom-poms, and they were doing it in front of a pink curtain also. It's the most colorful dream I recall having.

I think part of my dream last night involved me trying to talk my mum into letting me get a genital piercing. I remember ALMOST succeeding but not succeeding overall.

My most recurring dreams seem to be of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Metal Gear, Doom (the video game), traveling that goes wrong, or...

Well, this is my favorite, sometimes I have dreams taken out of a fucking David Cronenberg movie. Flesh hanging off my armpits, genital mutilations, seeds growing out of my sideburn-area(???), I could make movies outta that shit.

When I get weird dreams I usually can't remember them properly because of how weird they are , they start kinda normal with a few differences but the everything sorta goes insane. E.g a dream I had awhile ago.
I was in my house. My house was in a caravan park for some reason. Upstairs of my house catches fire an my family does nothing , I sprint out to this other giant bui!ding in the caravan park where there's a bunch of politicians are arguing about shit. I scream my house is on fire , run out and when I return the fire men are putting the fire out . my families still sitting around. Oh and then I went into the remains of the upstairs of my house and found the head of my old teddy with its decapitated body lying near by burnt black.

OK maybe this one was messed up in general.

I have a recurring dream that by concentrating and jumping up into the air, I can levitate. What strikes me as funny about it is that nobody gives a shit when I do.

If ever I dream I'm flying, it only ever happens by me being light enough to get taken by the wind. In flying dreams I have very little control over my general movements and direction, but still seem to end up in the general area of where I need to be.

I think last time I had a flying dream it was in the dead of night, just outside my house and I got carried SO far away, in several separate flights. Some crazy old woman was trying to kill me and I had to get away from her and hide. She couldn't get to me while I was flying, so landing again was scary.

I'm always running and hiding in my dreams from someone or something. A lot of the time I get caught and die, but sometimes I get away or someone saves me, usually one of my friends. My parents think I'm avoiding dealing with something, but I'm not really sure there's anything to it. It is just a dream after all.

the last dream which i remember was the following :
I was sit few meters behind a door , and a machine with a weapon between a riffle and a cannon ( the kind of stuff that explode half of a wall with 1 bullet ) the machine fired through the door and just repeatedly "headshot" me until only the bottom of the corpse was left...
then awake in a jump

I usually get dreams where someone is trying to kill me or I'm just falling off a really high building. Sometimes when I die I don't wake up straight away and it's the weirdest feeling.

...there are a lot of people who dream about being murdered, it seems. It's weird, to me; it's pretty rare for me to dream of death or scary things, just hilarious nonsensical bullshit -- like Leonidas from 300 handing out paper towels to his Spartans while screaming "TONIGHT, WE CLEAN THIS HELL".

Maybe it's because I don't have a subconscious fear of being helplessly murdered. *polishes slide on S&W 40VE*

Sometimes, I dream of architecture. Usually quite beautiful, sometimes with oddly vivid colors and especially textures (as in I can look at a wall across the room and feel the fine ripples in the stucco.) It's generally densely detailed with objects, with a combination of vast spaces and cozy nooks intricate and tucked away; perfect for exploration. Normally sparsely populated and rarely featuring anyone I can recognize.

Really very pleasant.

I've had them, on and off, for as long as I can remember. My earliest memorable dream was of some kind of dark, rusty abandoned factory. These days, they tend to be libraries, skyscrapers, and occasionally malls. The bookstore/library ones are my favorite because I find all these wonderful books I've never seen before. Sometimes, I even remember their titles when I wake up. I've never thought to write them down, though.

Most of my dreams involve an adventure of some kind or tactic. It's not uncommon for then to end with me being stabbed or shot or some other cause of death due to a bad idea on my part. Typically I play the hero in my dreams or the Omniscient (I think that's the word) character whose journey is done and is assisting the current hero after passing the torch. Magic and such often plays into it to in some form but the logic is always hard core flawed when I think about it when I wake up.

My dreams, more often than not, are little more than a kaleidoscopic cacophony of light and sound. No recognizable elements to speak of, just very colourful chaos.

I don't usually dream about dying, either, but I can remember a dream about being decapitated by an executioner.

A couple of recurring dreams I've had:
- This one occasionally still happens, but less often than it did in high school: I'd go from one class to the next, forget where I'm supposed to be going, and waste time going to the office for a new copy of my schedule.
- I accuse the movie Under Siege of giving me nightmares about microwaves exploding as if they were time bombs. Hasn't happened in years, thank God.
- There's a person on another site I've nicknamed my "dream stalker" because she seemed to show up in my dreams a disproportionately high number of times.

Here is a line from an entry in my dream journal thing:

"THen Winnie the Pooh slid across honey and Shadow started singing a song and she looked delicious in her dress."

Yeah that pretty much sums up my dreams. And that's not even the beginning really... (Also, why is Shadow even there, I'm not even a fan of Sonic...)

I forgot to mention a lot of dreams also revolve over still being stuck in highschool and the shit I delt with back then. I was picked on a lot back then so it probably is still haunting my subconious however more often then not in them now Im aware Im dreaming and fight back in them or completely fuck off from the area, usually after beating somebodies head in or Im just running away out of the building to freedom, often to my friends house where I spent a lot of time avoiding home.

I have the same recurring dream. I believe that it represents ambition, or a desire to become greater than oneself.

Last weird dream I had was when I was cutting off the skin on my arms with scissors and cutting holes through my thighs. I sorta felt it too. I could see all these veins and stuff.

Thank god it wasn't real.

I don't always remember my dreams, but when I do they are very unusual. Nothing like seeing William Murder face jumping a go-kart towards a building and jumping onto the roof, leaving the go-kart to crash. Or how about randomly becoming a herm? And you love procedurally generated locations, don't you?

I have weird dreams, depends what I'm focusing on while I try to sleep. I can almost pick which dream I will have.
If I:
- am studying music before bed: I will dream of music notes and sometimes freaking Patapon. I lead my army of patapon to the tempo of whatever song. I never finish a whole pata-dream. I usually wake up or dream switches
- drink anything before bed: I will have a random dream but there will be a lot of fluid. Like one time I had a dream about my dumb cat and he was stuck in a cardboard box, I left him there because he's dumb and then he started to pee in the box. The pee flowed freely out the box and became a piss river. Then I woke up and rushed to go piss because I had maybe 2 seconds before my body was gonna do it for me with or without a toilet lol.
- am thinking of my characters or my comic: I will end up living with my characters. I will travel with my characters, have adventures, do random shit, have kinky orgies <_< and I will wake up actually feeling refreshed and good.

Most of my random dreams are me hanging out with my characters in the real world doing whatever. I used to practice lucid dreaming and though I've stopped the meditations and exercises, I think I can still manipulate my dreams to various degrees.

OH! And I also tend to have dreams where I die A LOT. I make Goku's death count seem pitiful. I also kill a lot of demons, monsters, and the US government and law enforcement when they try to capture me. Did I forget I'm an anti-hero too sometimes? All those troops and cops...died for nothing.
