It's a figure of speech. We're a large subculture, spread across the globe, I believe now is the time to make a difference.
If we work together: the furries, the internet nerds, the hackers behind "Anonymous", the suppressed masses in North-Africa and the Middle-East who are rising up, I do think we can accomplish something.

One, anonymous is not your personal army. Others have made this mistake in the past, and paid dearly for it.

It totally depends on the faction of Anon. That Anonplus looks ridiculous and is riddled with basic grammar and spelling mistakes. It's retarded. Other groups which identify as Anonymous are more mature, or do certain kinds of hacking, or just do stuff for the lulz. Some are HURR ANTI GOVERNMENT, others are constructively making a stand through subversive tactics, some are just hacking to be annoying.

My point was this: While the politicians are squabbling, The "rich people" to put it simple, those who lower the "rating of Greece" for example, are using the economic crisis to get richer. They are earning money by speculating how bad the situation is for the working people. We just carry along in our comfortable Western lifestyles, but the reality is: people keep loosing jobs and money.
We have an opportunity: we're only a small subculture, but we're everywhere, and if we join up with other people behind their computer screens, we can say "We know what you're doing, and it has to stop".
People in North-Africa and the Middle-East used social networks to gather people and try to gain freedom in their region. They joined together for a just cause. I believe we can be inspired by them. I'm not suggesting war or violence, but we as a people have a chance here.
And why not have some fun while we're doing it. We're a silly group, but that's just it, we need to show that we can be ridiculous, that we are diverse, but we don't need to hate each other because of it. We've grown beyond that, beyond racism and homophobia, we have to let the world know that, and we can, so why don't we?
If there ever was a moment in history to unite, it is now.
I know I may sound idealistic and naive, but I stand by my words.

I was going to post something similar, but I just didn't have the energy. A lot of people seem to hate Anonymous without knowing even the first thing about them. I have yet to understand why. People have done very good things in the name of Anonymous; lack of respect for that just seems childish and rather ignorant.
As for the OP, I'm sorry, but I think you're a fool. I honestly don't like to be mean, but you're saying a whole lot of nothing much. Your plan is vague and disorganized, to say the least -- what exactly are you trying to do, here? Get rid of corruption in the entire world? You need to have a focus, if you want to change anything. You can't just run in gung-ho and declare that you're going to make the whole world better by saying "we see what you're doing; stop it". The world is more complicated than that.

Hackers weren't involved in exposing the Murdoch phone-hacking scandal. It's been going on for years, the police have always known about it, it was just that when one specific peice of info came to light (Milly Dowler) then the police had to get off their asses and actually do something about it.
Basically, OP, what you're trying to do WON'T HAPPEN. You need a specific focus to get people riled up, and loads of people talking about injustice on the internet is going to do fuck all. How can you solve the debt crisis? How can you stop corruption? How can you expect everyone to make a difference about everything at once? It won't happen. People need specific things to latch onto, like the Murdoch scandal, or the student loans fuck-up to get passionate enough to go out in the masses and try and change something.
You're niave if you think you can get everyone on the internet to care about things which, a lot of the time, they feel doesn't concern them or they don't care about. You can't force people to care.
I'm not against taking action, I feel pride when people go out and try to change something and I've been involved with some specific movements through an activist website called 38Degrees. However, the approach you are taking won't work. Check out 38Degrees, it's a good example of having specific movements/focuses and then getting the word to the people who matter.
Also, yes social networking was used in the Arab Spring, but you know what else was? Protests, hundreds of thousands of people on the street. Uniting against one figure, with one purpose. The internet is not the all-encompassing 'bring down the government' tool you seem to think it is.
