The best thing to say in this situation, is of course....

VIVA LA REVOLUCIÓN!

It totally depends on the faction of Anon. That Anonplus looks ridiculous and is riddled with basic grammar and spelling mistakes. It's retarded. Other groups which identify as Anonymous are more mature, or do certain kinds of hacking, or just do stuff for the lulz. Some are HURR ANTI GOVERNMENT, others are constructively making a stand through subversive tactics, some are just hacking to be annoying.
Anon cannot be labelled as all one thing *Shrug*

Eh, I still have yet to see Anon doing anything productive in society.

"I say we forget this business and run."
A lot of people seem to hate Anonymous without knowing even the first thing about them. I have yet to understand why.
Something about Internet and Thin Skin. Recall that we have a person in R&R who was blocked by an artist pre-emptively because the Artist saw them posting things they dislike elsewhere on the net. Pre-emptive block without even talking with the user. Now compare that with the rumor mill of what Anonymous is. I'd wager that at least 33% of Furries don't know anything about Anonymous other than "Ebil twoll mundanes".

People have done very good things in the name of Anonymous; lack of respect for that just seems childish and rather ignorant.
You mean like their six-month long attention grab toward the inanity of Scientology, releasing information of companies doing some extremely underhanded tactics (such as planting evidence to silence opposition), repeated activities to report animal abusers to police, etcetera? Obviously matters not compared to an "I ween" troll-post.

Hackers weren't involved in exposing the Murdoch phone-hacking scandal.
On a related note, you heard how one of the first few Whistleblowers of Murdoch was found dead, right?

Eh, I still have yet to see Anon doing anything productive in society.
See "reveal companies doing underhanded shit and getting away with it", "frequently locate animal abusers / fuckers and report to police", "dramatically increased public attention toward Scientology", and so on. Mind, this is just what Anonymous members have done in the name of Anonymous - despite what some people may think, an Anonymous member can not live 20 hours a day in a basement, four hours sleep. They need to do stuff like have a job, pay taxes and rent, etcetera.

Oh, and note: Most Anonymous hackers are by no means professional. Most of them have practically zero experience beyond "Hacking for Dummies"-level knowledge. What's telling about the "hacking" activities is not that they try them, but that - even at such low levels - they work against things that should be very, very well protected (Such as a Police Department's system).

There are productive sects, but since pretty much anyone with internet can become part of Anon,

Well, you can see how that just breeds all sorts of problems.

Well, this is completely inane and unrealistic. No revolution has occurred, or will occur for that matter purely through the internet. Revolutions are fought, lost and won in the real world. No amount of complaining and petitioning on the internet will make significant changes.

If by some sort of ironic divine intervention this 'revolution' occurs, the above sentence and the 'legion of furries' bollocks will make it lose anything resembling seriousness.

Why can't we have a Nationalist revolution?

Because nationalism is so 2006.

No, Nationalism is the hip thing, now.

Globalist Liberalism and postmodernism were so last century. It's now time for the Nihilists and the Populists to make a comeback, so that we can fix what the Anarchists and commies did, so that we can cause more problems that the anarchists and communists will have to fix, and so on and so on.

And life will move on!

I guess this is a joke.

The only 'revolting' that will be done in the furry community is as a transitive verb.

I was a bit in over my head, but things are still happening, riots in London streets, the econmy is going down.
The current people in charge don't understand how we've built a new community online, without the old ideas of "I'm good, because I have money", or "I'm white" or "I"m Christian" or "I'm French".
That's what I was trying to do, get people united, to let them know we, the younger generations, don't care about those differences, and that we should focus on jobs for everyone, and food for those starving people in Africa, instead of going to war for oil and what not, or lowering ratings of Greece and the US. That's just rich fat pigs laughing at us, and making money.
I wanted to change that.

Why not, we've had enough, and we can do it, let's take over the world together!

When I read this, the theme song from "Pinky and The Brain" started going through my head...

I'm "Human" get over it.
What the hell is this? This thread seriously needs one of the two following things:

-A context to put the original post in, otherwise it's random and doesn't make sense.
-Or maybe this thread should just have never existed.

Either way, you are never going to recruit an army, be it of furries, hackers, or nerds. It's just not going to happen. If we're lucky, Ramsay will lock this piece-o-crap soon. Seriously, this thread had no point whatsoever.

Lol this is kinda funny in a sense that you indirectly targeted me because, I'm rich, I'm white, I'm Christian, et je suis un francophone (translated: and I'm french). But I must ask, "Since when was being french such a great thing?" I just find it a little funny you would single out french people. Like, what a random group to target. :D

Anyway onto the rest. I don't consider myself better than others for any of those reasons. So it's rather offensive you would say all people who fit that description are the enemy. Quite frankly I like and respect everyone on this forum to the best of my abilities. You could say *snifle* I love them (pause for "awwwws"). Of course there is one exception to that, a spammy thread monster who has made more crap threads in the last three days than humanly possible, I'm sure someone here knows who I'm talking about.

And now I'm beginning to ramble. So lets get back on track, there are so many falsities in your post that i've quoted, that I simply cannot address them all. So let me tell you a little more about myself, I am part of the younger generations, I don't care about the differences you mentioned, I don't approve of going to war over oil, I'm not fat, and I work for my money. So supposedly I would make a good recruit in your pretend "Army".

Except for one problem, I'm the enemy because I'm rich, white, christian, and french so clearly I can't be allowed to join your revolution.

Now do you see how flawed your recruitment strategy is. Your strategy is based entirely on stereotypes. For shame.

So ya that's my little rant on how pointless and stupid this thread is. I hope it made good reading material. Now can someone please lock this piece-o-crap up? :D

WINTERFELL!
I think it was just a general post about how people don't group on the internet in the same way as in meatspace. However, IMO they do group just as much. It's the way humans work.

I'm keeping my eye on this thread. Ryan, if you want action in a thread/on a post, there is a report button you can use to get the attention of the moderators.
