Things that make you feel nervous.

Pet/ct scans. Having to sit still in that awkward position in a tiny tube makes me flip my shit. The valium hardly helps, but enough to get the scan done

Probable failure. Failing school tests/assignments is possible but with me is far from probable. I'm only nervous when failure is most present, like a driver's test or job interview, where even one mistake could make or break the whole thing.

Sleeping in class
Sleeping means a chance to talk in my sleep, talking in my sleep means the potential for me to let something slip...

i fell asleep during math class once. i failed the 30% test the next day T_T. since that day whenever i start falling asleep in class i hit my head against the table to wake myself up... or to fall unconscious so everyone gets panicked and stop the class

More Metal Than You !!!
I had to resort to a rubber band on my wrist. If I started to doze off, I'd give myself a thwap so my brain would associate sleep with pain. I used the same trick to quit smoking.

Purchasing things or ordering food alone. For some reason, I just can't get rid of the fear that I might do something awkward in front of someone.

I also find myself very nervous when someone asks me about something that I am not sufficiently knowledgeable of.

To this end, I always feel horribly awkward eating in front of other people.

Family arguments/arguments that involve a family member. I never want to get involved in them.

When I was but a lad I had an argument with my dad. I got so nervous that I couldn't hear anymore. All I heared was white noise. I also started to get extremely wobbly :p

Human interaction...haha. Like phone calls and interviews, etc.
Also I HATE it when people are standing or doing something behind me. That makes me really nervous for some reason...

Don't get me started on retards- they disturb, disgust and annoy me on too many levels for one post.

The sound of rushing water- ever since I was caught in a flood, I can't handle that anymore.
Being in cars and not driving- head on crash a few years ago- not fun stuff.
Lightning- I've seen it hit so close that the sky turned bright green and the explosion was nuts. Hubby took a picture of a bolt literally 100 feet from our house recently. I was in the basement hiding in a dark room.

Bees and wasp, definitely. The hum of their wings messes with my ears so bad. And I've been scared of getting stung after the stories my family has told me.

One got into my car once when I was on the interstate, and I literally thought I was going to die. I thought I was gonna freak out, run off the road, hit a tree, and die because of a freakin bee. But the thing just flew across the dashboard and out the window, and I was so happy that I cried.

Last summer I parked my car and walked across a short gras field to Subway to get lunch, while wearing dress pants. While standing in line, I felt a tickle on my thigh, but thought it was just leg hair stuck in a pant fold, so shook it off, and it stopped. Then about a minute or two later (long line) I felt something tickling and crawling there, so I kinda freaked and shook my leg to get it out. Whatever it was, stopped, so I figured it fell out and flew away. I got my sammich, paid for it, and went back to my car, where I sat down and got ready to eat. Suddenly I felt a tickle again, and a loud deep buzz, way up at the front of my thights. I had to unzip and drop my pants a bit to get to it, and as soon as I did, a huge bumble bee flew out and started circling around the car, then flew out the window. I think I got really lucky, especially since bumblebees only sting as a last resort and are typically friendly and just overly curious, and I think the bee got lucky too, because I could have easilly crushed it by scratching the tickle, or sitting on top of it. Poor thing was probably as freaked out and confused as I was, since it apparently flew up off a flower right as I walked over it, and went right up my pant leg for about 5 minutes :p

Blood. Blood makes me incredibly nervous. I'm not squeamish, I like watching videos of surgery and whatnot. But it's when someone who I am physically next to is bleeding, or something like that.

It makes me very uncomfortable.
