To catch a dream...

(Not sure where to post this but I thought this forum made the most sense)

I am a very crafty person, always have been. One of my most recent projects have been constructing dream catchers. Well, I've gotten several requests for me to offer commissions for them but I have been reluctant to do so. Mostly because I think the material cost alone would be more than what I personally would consider paying for "just a dream catcher".

Getting to the point of this thread, I just basically want to see if it would even be worth it for me to offer commissions for these or not. So... what you guys would consider paying for one of my dream catchers custom made? Do you know of any places where I could get supplies from fairly cheap? (Or at least cheaper than the "Hobby" stores where I currently shop)

Some examples of my work:

Note: I didn't make the acrylic decals therefore would not be offering them in custom orders.

Kisses for everyone!
Well, I know that my girlfriend used to collect these things like mad, so while I don't know if we'd be a customer in the future, I know there's a market and interest for it at least :)

I think they're very nice! If you go about looking in the right places for craft stuff, I bet they could even look more professional.

Here's a place I found:

http://factorydirectcraft.com/ - it seems to have some good deals.

They're selling like, 12-24 feathers for .99 cents, which would probably help at least a bit with pricing lol :) they have beads and strings and stuff too so look around.

http://www.crazycrow.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=500-000-000 - There's also this place, too, which would have like, everything together that you're looking for. I don't know what it's like comparatively to what you're spending now, though.

Well I'm not here to look for customers... quite the contrary, I just wanted to get an idea of people *would* pay so I could get an idea if it would be worth it for me to offer commissions. :3

Thank you for the links though! :D

Kisses for everyone!
I guess an estimation on how much my gf paid for them, a lot of the simpler ones she paid $25-30 tops. She had some really nice ones that she said she paid $50, though.

would $25-30 be too little? I guess you'd have to do math to see how much you'd relatively spend on them first with those links or w/e though, haha.
