Tolerating differences.

Could you elaborate on that a little? I'm not quite sure what you mean, and it sounds like a potentially interesting point.

In short, modern feminism, in most part, trying to achieve not equal rights for women, but equality with men.

It's a matter of give respect and you will be respected; differences really don't matter that much.
However, I do avoid anyone who is prone to cause problems and drama. I am mean and get angry and I will punch someone in the face if they are problematic without hesitation.
It's something I don't tolerate.

Jeez, sounds like I won't be making many friends here. Why can't people be more accepting of hate?

I'm not really tolerant of people who are always aware of or obsessed with issues like racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, religion/atheism or social justice in general. It's like you pop the wrong joke or say the wrong thing in front of them, you're automatically the worst person ever. I like people who are laid-back and aren't obsessed/sensitive with politics and social issues, because I can express myself in front of them without "you're so fucking prejudiced against asexuality". It seems I can't find many people like that nowadays, because a lot of younger people these days even my age seem programmed to think they have to be and tell everyone else to be a perfect human being/hugbox machine and police my fucking thoughts. It's like these people are always on the lookout for sensitive topics. It's fucking annoying, no...Actually, I'm flat out tired of hearing it from them.

I could have made it shorter by saying "I am not tolerant of social justice warriors", but I know that's an overused term and they aren't warriors, they're fucking retards. And, I think I am getting tired of talking/ranting about it.

I tolerate people pretty well. I'm a left-centrist and my roommate is a Republican who's afraid to go to places with too many black people. I also come from a strongly conservative area (My county was one of 2 in New York state that voted for McCain in '08). I find it helps me clarify my views, and gosh darnit it's so much fun to debate.

Well I am from a mixed race immediate family so I am definitely alright with physical differences.

I am usually pretty tolerant, but I have little patience for certain traits and personality types.

Tell me about it. It peeves me when people have no sense of personal space; whether it is with me or people I know. I also tend to dislike people who act fake and obnoxious just to get attention. I also cannot stand codependency in any way, shape, or form. Just to list a few.

Intolerance and indifferences is why this world has been so fucked up in the first place for so long.
There's certain people who just can't deal with indifferences and history has shown that in many sad and disturbing ways.

Let's look at where we are at this point in history though.
Equality of races.
Equality of genders.
Equality of countries.
Equality of sexual preference.

I know depending on location with some of those examples we still have a long way to go but do you think you could have comfortably said those things 50 years ago?

I'm tolerant and pretty open minded for the most part, I tend to consider the feelings of everyone and give different world views the benefit of the doubt. But I do have political or personality differences that can be deal breaker for me. And it can be fun to hate on things in a tongue in a cheek sort of way, some hate feels good lol.

Yah there's no way everyone is always gonna agree with each other and that's the chaos/beauty in it all :D

How well do you tolerate the differences of others, whether they be physical, ideological, or emotional? Do you do well with accepting people for having them, or do you keep your distance from them? Are you able to look past their differences and befriend them, or do you actively avoid or abandon people with certain differences that you can't reconcile?

This is a toughy, and let me start out by saying, astrologically I'm a Pisces, and having the believe that using that sign and what entails makes this a very complicated thing, for me at least. I'll go ahead and try to answer all your questions to the best of my ability though.

I've never had a problem with the way a person looks, they can be short, tall, skinny, fat, asian, african american, english, whatever, the only time I've ever had a problem is if they smell, if they're prescence has an area of effect, I tend to stay away, reguardless of how involving or entertaining their personality may be. Ideologically I enjoy being around folks whom share at least some of my view points, those who aren't super big into politics or religion are more likely to be my friend or someone I associate with then those who are. Emotionally, if someone is bat shit crazy, then I tend to stay away, however my long time gf has a moderate emotional issue, and I've been coping very well with it through all this time. I'm willing to learn more about new cultures and people as long as they're not trying to convert me or lead me into the believe that their way is better. However, anyone who tends to side with the GOP/Republican political way of thinking, usually finds themselves gone, fast.

I hope that gives you at least one more insight on ways of thinking.

I don't blame him lmao...No, but really it depends on the neighborhood. I sorta feel uncomfortable in an ultra redneck neighborhood as well. I'm not too classy myself, but I just don't like surrounding myself with trashy people. It's like they're all for doing things that I don't agree with (i.e violence, drugs, crime, being and looking disgusting, etc...)

Here's my opinion on guns. I personally don't care for them politically, I'm not an activist, I'm not totally for or against them, they're just cool weapons to me. I don't think it's going to make much of a difference to the world either if we keep them legal or ban them. That being said, I don't see too much of an issue to have little gun control, partucularly in cities where there's a lot of crime. I can see it more as a hobby weapon in private areas, however I don't particularly enjoy watching people shoot animals for fun. If you had to survive it's a different story.

I think it would be cool to have a gun and shoot at inanimate objects with it. Also, the 2nd Amendment gives us the right to bear arms, so to take away this right would be unconstitutional. That being said, I am all for background checks and gun safety programs. After all, guns deserve respect, as they are handy when used properly but dangerous when used improperly.

I see no reason to discriminate anyone just because they are different. Heck, I Have a Lazy eye, Am Bisexual.. why should I hate on someone who is different when I'm so different as well :3
only people I hate and won't stop, are those who pick on ones younger/smaller/Weaker than them and attack in groups...

I like to think I don't treat people any differently based on factors like race, religion, gender or sexuality etc. I do however treat people differently depending on their personal qualities, if someone is kind and caring towards me, I will reciprocate, if not, I will also reciprocate. Of course I don't get involved in any physical or verbal hostility, usually.

I try to respect people for having opinions that differ from my own, but only as long as they accept it and they don't forcefully inflict their own opinion on me, then we have a problem.

Also I try not to rashly judge people, my philosophy is you never know what a person's really like solely from your first impression of them. That said though I do sometimes find myself instinctively judging people but then I usually second guess myself and give them the benefit of the doubt.

No, my friend is my enemy.

Everyone but you yourself is an enemy.

I tolerate everyone until they give me a reason to not. Especially askholes and dimwitted people. Those I can't handle at all and will drop on a dime.
