Top 5 favorite smells?

Kinare

RAWR
Super important question here for you folks: what is your list of top 5 favorite smells?

Mine, in no particular order:
1. My cat's fur when it's been exposed to fresh air.
2. Lightly burned wood, like when you burn a brand or art into wood.
3. New books, particularly the kind of paper that usually holds images and thus is glossier.
4. Rainy air.
5. This candle I have that reminds me of cologne, couldn't tell ya what brand of cologne though.

Honorable mention: grilled steak. It only got booped out of the top 5 because I only ever get to smell it when a neighbors cook it, thus I don't get to enjoy the taste too, which is just not fair.

Are we moomin, or are we dancer?
Oh this is an interesting question.

I like your suggestions of candles, rainy days and woodsmoke.

I enjoy the smell of lilacs, lemons, roses, dark chocolate and the sweet smell of browning leaves in autumn. All those good things. :3

-Sea breeze in the summer
-Roses, or turkish delight with rose scent
-Baking hot sand, or bone-dry soil, in the dead of summer
-Pine woods
-Coffee. Often times, its aroma is better than the taste itself.

Honorable mention - the incense that is used in Orthodox churches.

3. Butter, especially the heated one.
4. Cigs, not lit.
5. Pet food

These smells aren't only pleasant for me, but also makes me somewhat uh...well. I don't know why.

3. Gasoline
4. Soap
5. A bonfire in which a tree and leaves were burned.

Yes. Sadly I don't live near the sea so it's a rare occasion, but I am in one of the hottest cities and last summer was dry and I loved it.

[edit]
@Fallowfox I just noticed that you bolded the turkish delights part, oops.
Near the mosque in town, there's a shop that only sells turkish delights and other oriental sweets. Most of it is amazing.
