Its not an easy choice, although from a biased pov, if you can effectively code, the field is a good choice as the world seem to want more computer people then it can produce

Ben gives good advice. There are many opportunities in both fields though computer science is more adaptable. I will say there definitely ways to combine the two.

If you know python you can navigate and use just about any GIS and statistics software out there and have a big head up on others out of the gate for environmental science. Models, statistics, things like HAB analysis, would be very easy.

If you are split there are ways to combine both or if you must chose, figure out the reasons why you are drawn to both. Lay them out and compare which has more reasons you like versus more you love. Both are great choices
