The mesothelae is a fictional-(because I'll tell you later here) giant spider
mesothele is actually an order of spiders which the only living family liphiistidae lives until today.
This Mesothelae spider is the size of a
human head! She would be hunting cats if she were alive today!

Actually no spiders were this big:
"mesothele" is actually a change from "megarachne" name given to a supposedly "Giant spider" fossil that later was identified as a "sea scorpion" (actually a different type of animals that lived from the Silurian to the early Permian [citation required])
but that was unknown to the moment of the documentary making, so this GREAT error was left there! ;w; (I wanted giant spiders. just knewed this when I checked facts TwT)
