The mods are not Superman, nor are we basement dwelling virgins who refresh FAF every 10 seconds checking for new threads. If a thread has not been approved within 24 hours, please message me to let me know.

Henceforth, posting an identical thread within 30 minutes of the last one will be an infractable offense and considered spam. You will be sent a warning with the first offense.

I didn't realise this the first time I posted, I'd be redirected so fast that I didn't realise that moderators had to even approve my threads, took me a couple tries to figure out what was going on, I suggest stating somewhere that it needs to be mod approved for dumbasses like me that can't read fast

I was rather surprised by the wait the first time. But I messed up my add and I was told why.
I made a new one and it was approved really fast because there were "Super Duper Mods"
on line at the time.

(I've moderated a huge forum like this and believe me its a full time job!)

You should include this right above the "post" button.

"Note: Post approvals can take up to 12 hours. Thank you for your patience."

most sites include these notes in the page after you pose (usually a redirection page) but I find I often miss any messages there.

This post is easy to over look when new people are glancing at the "red rules" posts. and wedged amongst them is a grey rule post.

Not to mention that misclicks and or browser mishaps do happen on occasion and can result in multiple postings. Rather harsh to yell at someone for something they may not have intended.

To me moderated means "watched over" not "approval pending"

I read this in this manner, not as in you have to wait for your post to be approved.

I have written to the web master suggesting the changes I stated above be implemented to save both users and Taralack the grievances of rule breaking. I also suggest to others who feel the rules are little are to follow due to their spread out nature of posting, also send in suggestions.

1) If possible make a note near the post button to wait 12 hours for approval.
2) To combine all Black market rules into 1 easy to read list of "Black Market Rules"
3) To clarify that "moderation" means "approve of posts" in the Black Market Description.

I hope that these suggestions are put to use because I believe that neither the user, who is banned for spamming without knowing the the rule, nor the moderator, who has to put forth time and energy in banning people, enjoys the outcome of such.

And, I've now realized what was happening!!! I assumed it wasn't posting because I kept leaving it about 40 mintues between opening the post and actually posting so thought I timed out, had to log back in and remake the thread!

First request I ever make and I screw up it up! I'm very sorry, and if a mod reads this before they see a bunch of post requests, I'm very sorry and just approve the last one i made (if any). !

I have a question: I was trying to post a tread, but internet reported a problem and stopped the process. I was forced to redo the work from the start ... but now I don't know if the first request, although the process had been interrupted, it came to the moderators.
In this case, however, I risk a recall, although I did not do it on purpose to publish the same tread?

Is there a way to know whether your post has been denied or is still pending? I've only just realized i'm supposed to post a budget, but i forgot to, and i don't know if it just hasn't been looked at yet or has been denied for not having this, like- if it's been denied, do i still get to see it so i can edit and repost it, or can it just be accepted so i can edit the budget in quickly? D:
