Hey there. I'm trying to include gaming in my ongoing effort to be more social because frankly, It's fun to goof off with friends online. I hope this thread can bring jolly cooperation for many of you.

I have Monster Hunter: World! I played for about 40hrs and then got distracted by other games... as a hardcore MH fan I was also a bit disappointed how they dumbed down the latest iteration to appeal more to a western audience.
That being said I’ve also been meaning to pick it up again.

Most games I play are single player. I did play ARK online for a while and had a blast with random people, but that game requires way too much time investment and commitment so I quit one day as it started to feel like a chore.

They dumbed it down for people like me. ^^; This is my first Monster Hunter and I love it. Buuut I got sick of dealing with the friend I was gaming with CONSTANTLY bitching and moaning. Plus it was likely around the time I was taking care of my aunt as she was dying aka having REAL problems, that made me step away from the game.

Time has passed and if I can have someone to hunt with I'm all for it.

I’ll hunt some monsters with you! You won’t hear me moaning, as I’ve said before this game is easy compared to previous ones like MH3, and Freedom Unite.
I do understand why they made the changes they did and if it gets the game more attention it deserves than I’m all for it... just hope they don’t run it into the ground doing so like they did to Resident Evil.. looking at you 5 and 6!

I will firmly defend 5. The story was meh, but the overall game was really fun for me and the AI partner wasn't nearly as bad as everyone claimed, unless you played on Hard, then you need a friend.

6 however was a dumpster fire. I was super hyped for it until I played it. I beat every scenario just HOPING maybe I'll enjoy this one, nope, never happened. Even playing with a friend it was still bland. How can you be hyper spastic and bland at the same time?!

Hehe I'd have to agree with you. Me and my ex managed to finish 5 on co-op (it was so much better of a game with a real person playing, even if she was terrible at that type of game x3). 6.. never finished, it was sad letdown.

You didn't miss anything. It was more or less Michael Bay presents Resident Evil.

When Tomb Raider went all action it was super fun and awesome. With RE, not so much.
