A Simple Code for Posting on the Web

Say Everything As If Speaking To Everyone
(because you are)

If You Must Be A Jerk, Don't Be An Anonymous One
(because that's cowardly)

Encourage Others To Abide By This Code
(because it's neighborly, plus recursive rules are fun)

When Others Don't Care To Abide, Ignore Them
(because they're not worthy of your time)

as stolen from Rod Knowlton

edit: Fixed link. Thanks Eevee.
Ah, I thought this was going to say something like... If you keep flaming people everyone is going to hate you. But if you make meaningful posts and help people then blah blah etc.

100% organic vegan hubbas
I was expecting that as well.

However laggy, don't click a 'submit' button twice
(because others will chide for double-posts)

Am I the only one who thinks it's ironic that this is nixed from somebody else?

Rants like a Gryphon
If you are a sarcastic bastard who flames people with poor grammar skills or who makes comparisons like "I would rather have a buffalo take a diarrhea dump in MY ear than listen to another AVGkNockoff!", then expect to either be exalted as the best person on the forum or ignored as another bastard.

If someone does not type grammar very well, ALWAYS assume they are retarded. It's special lulz if they turn out to be very fluent in another language and they write a bunch of bad words about you. (One of my friends was Danish and he was literally just learning English. He spoke German mostly though.)

If you are autistic or dyslexic, no one will believe you except others with genuine diagnoses.

Mind you credit was given, and the author encourages it being spread around as it's *good advice*.
