You know. That's genuinely a good question. I'm not too sure myself, though spiders always seem to give me the creeps or make me flinch, but not all the time.

Yet, ironically, my favourite super hero is Spider-Man

I'm a tall person with a fear of heights. Also a fear of falling off of things, like balconies or ladders.

Also a fear of open flames, so no barbecuing or gas stove-top cooking. But cooking with ovens or electric stove-top burners is fine.

i have irrational fears of amputation, losing a sense, paralysis, developing dementia/alzheimers, and basically anything related to a basic body/mind function being taken away from me. it's on my mind way too often

Being watched or spied on by people I don't know. It mostly has to with a powerful group like a government or corporation. I don't like the thought that everything I say or do is gathered by some mysterious person or persons I don't know the intentions of.
