Like, they just got all the worlds monies (aka, 525,900 Croc bucks) and just bought out every gaming company ever? Would we all have to use motion controllers forever? Would that make us lose weight? If so, sign me up, because I got a pretty big ass Croc gut and I'm tired of being called fat. Ugh.

Even if Nintendo got all the world's money~ I doubt they'd try and make something original with it. Just stick with the same tired three series of Mario, Zelda, and Metroid with an over-abundance of awkward dildo controllers and hand-holding tutorials. ]:

Now go train and become a sleek Feraligatr if you're tired of being fat. Those gators are pure muscle. V:

I'm pretty sure that the world has enough diles and gatrs to last an apocalypse. Where are all the Crocs? Exactly.

It's a Crococaust, that's what.

Well maybe if Nintendo would give us more than a single eviolite per game there would be more incentive to keep our Crocs in their awkward teenage puberty evolutionary stage. Its a conspiracy for sure.

Or maybe crocs are just the final evolutionary line and the game's been fucked up since gen 2. Try chewing on that.

Spoiler: You can't because you don't got a big enough Croc jaw.

And I never would be able to if I had a Croc jaw. No matter how big. V: Crocs can't chew their food.

I'm pretty sure you're mistaking Crocs with pie headed sergals. Seriously, how the hell do you eat when you're head is literally food? Hella stupid character design if you ask me.

That is Croc slander, I'll have you know, but you're right but still, hella rude dude.

If Nintendo owned everything? Nintendo isn't playing casual forever ... they've got the oldest franchises in the videogame industry. (Heck, Nintendo itself is older than the videogame industry, by like almost a century!)

From a developer and innovation standpoint, Nintendo likes to take some development risks that Sony and MS don't. Kinect and Move wouldn't have existed without the Wii's massive success.

But if Nintendo owned everything? I dunno ... that's hard to imagine.

They may take risks with their hardware... but with their games they just stick to milking the dusty teats of their tired mascots with the same stale game play. And ugh... I shudder to imagine the online game play of the world if Nintendo owned everything..... friend codes D: friend codes everywhere!

I say, I am quick to agree with you good sir. But when I take one of my longing Croc eyes to peak at the competition, the same concept and idea of "overused milked PCs" run a much through their libraries. Tis such a shame that such a concept exists.

They've gotten better (looser) about FC's with the 3DS and Wii U (as compared to DS games, where the FC wasn't a core system spec and had to be implemented on a per-game basis, and the original Wii)), but ultimately, their family-friendly image is quite a responsibility compared to Sony or MS.

So Nintendo buying out its rivals would be kinda like Disney buying Marvel. And DC. And Warner Bros. And Dreamworks. And....

Every video game would be fun and Western games would no longer be shit.

...
More serious answer: It would be too much for the Big N to control all at once and not a whole lot would change. There would be only one video game console, one handheld, and games would either stop coming out on the PC or that'd be the alternative to those two. I'm not sure. Some video games that otherwise wouldn't be localized would, and some video games would never ever get localized. A bunch of porn games would stop getting made, no one Nintendo 1st party series would ever die (F-Zero would still be here for instance), and there'd probably be more actually BAD main series Nintendo games made, since Nintendo would probably allow some companies to mess with its games. But that's okay, because more main series games would likely get made.

but with their games they just stick to milking the dusty teats of their tired mascots with the same stale game play.
Every 3D Mario game is extremely different from each other.
Nearly every Star Fox game is very different from each other (and people hate them for that unfortunately).

As for other series, even if the games mostly are the same, they were good to begin with so minor changes will only make already good games better or slightly worse. It pretty much guarantees that a game in a series will be good. The slight changes are interesting anyways. Pokemon finally going 3D, Zelda going open world....

EDIT:
Also, Nintendo does do some different stuff on occasion but usually it just fades into the background. Think Glory of Heracles for instance. And they are getting better about that anyways, with Project STEAM and Splatoon coming.
Also Nintendo hasn't released a Metroid game in 4 years, and it was Other M, which is significantly different from previous Metroid entries.
