What is your favourite place that you have travelled to?

It can be anywhere, it can be close to home or another country.

Why is it your favourite place? :)

So far my favorite has been downtown San Francisco. I would hate to live there, but holy fuck it's so much fun to visit.

Huh, tough question.

As for wilderness, I'd say Southern Utah, from Zion to Bryce Canyon, and hiking in the forests way up on the Aquarius plateau. Amazing landscape, that changes from desert, to grasslands to pine forest, to broad-leaf forest, as you go up in elevation. And not a person in sight, up there.

As for cities, NYC is a lotta fun, but kinda expensive, and I liked Toronto, as well as Montreal.

I really miss this one awesome spot in Baja I used to go to. Unfortunately, it's in Mexico, while very beautiful and full of really cool people and awesome culture, it is a very dangerous place for gringos at the moment. The place I used to visit is so beautiful, it had a bay, beach, desert, and mountains around the area. I don't feel safe making the trip with all those corrupt cops (They will accuse you of crimes you didn't do and demand ridiculous amounts of money for fines), narcos (The cartels; they will kidnap you, demand a ransom but kill you anyway in the end), and asshole soldiers in the desert stopping me and pointing their assault rifles at me and my family and asking for shit (I was a kid when this happened, and it happened more than once). I actually really miss Mexico, but I'm not going down there without bodyguards or superior firepower.

There's a place further up the coast of BC I used to go camping at. Hell, I even have an exact picture of the spot we were able to snatch a few years back:

It's real close to civilization, but just steps away from a beautiful nature trail. And if you decide to drive for about half an hour, there's this stunning port town with an amazing cafe and a few stores if you run low on camping supplies. The place overall has a very peaceful and cultural community and I'd love to go there again, maybe bring a few friends for once.

Where is that? Sunshine Coast?

Looks familiar. Nice spot.

EDIT: Found it. I was right. Funny enough, the first friend I ever had lives there now in the town by that spot.

I loved Philmont Scout Ranch in northern New Mexico: it had a lot of really diverse terrain, was really beautiful, and was probably the best 1.5 weeks of my camping life.

Washington state (close to Brit. Columbia) is also a neat place to visit for natural stuff. The Grand Canyon is also a good one to visit (a couple of times)

I would say San Fran, specifically Haight Ashburry, but that's like 40 minutes away so I think I'll say Lake Tahoe as a secondary.

A couple of my friends have been there and they said the same things, it looked impressive from the photos they showed me.

I'll be serious now haha, my favorite place that I've traveled too, and wouldn't mind going back to, was Sandusky, OH. Me and an Ex went there to go to Cedar Point, but we spent some time on the beach of Lake Erie. It was really beautiful, you could walk ALL the way out on the lake and still be very much above water xD Well not ALL the way. It's a pretty big Lake, and I hear the farther you go out, the choppier the water and it's dangerous, but I walked at least 50ft out and it was still at my waste xD
The town seemed peaceful, too, and the air felt sooo fresh. I wouldn't mind going back! And of course the drive up there, though long, had some really nice scenery, too.
