Tumbleweeds.
Yep.
Especially when they mob-up and attack!
(Not especially fond of some cacti, either. Once drove my motorcycle through a batch of 'Jumping Cactus', and came out the other side totally covered in this infernal floral spawn from Hell!)

I saw them at a botanical garden and I guess they traumatized me. They are impressive. I was like five at most. In my mind I fused them with Venus flytraps and had nightmares of these plants eating people.

Music boxes, Mini Figurines and CuCu Clocks.

Mini Figurines: I always imagined the figurines moving at night when the moonlight/streetlights cast a shadow on them. Not to mention tree limbs casting a shadow just right, and imagining that it was a hand reaching into the room.

Music Boxes: Something was always unsettling about how it played music and stopped when you closed it. [Idk why I still wince at the mere sight and sound of music boxes]. This has to be the weirdest thing I got scared of.

CuCu Clocks: Again, unsettling way when they are loosing battery life they turn into demonic screeching/chirps.

Bonus: Any toy I used that is about to run out of battery.

So yeah, that about sums it up. ^v^'

My nana had a painting of a man.
It was just a completely ordinary painting of some guy in a blue shirt, no scary eyes or anything, but for some reason it really scared me as a kid.

Basically any appliance, mostly within my dreams. I think my wild imagination as a child combined with my noise sensitivity made inanimate + noisy objects really stick in my head and manifest some sort of threatening image in my head, but that's the only way to describe it really. Good thing I got older and I understand these things aren't a threat.
I feel you. Vacuum cleaners were my nemesis.

Also any cartoon that had UFO or robots in it was making me hysterical.

Bad/ early CG in 90's movies. They all had an uncanny look at the time that didn't really start getting better until Shrek. I remember getting freaked out seeing Toy Story for the first time as a kid at this face (which is hilarious now that I think about it):

Bad/ simple claymation had the same effect as well, I remember getting scared by a british show called Gogs (though judging by youtube comments, so did many other children).

The art of a (false) human anatomy I doodled on a wooden back of a drawing board with a dark marker pen...

It drove me an undeniable fear everytime I stared it for long. xP

There are a lot of closing logos that would intrigue me as a kid. Some made me slightly uncomfortable, but Splaat from Klasky-Csupo was the only one that actually scared me. I'm pretty sure there are some weirder things I was terrified of as a kid, but they seem to be repressed in the back of my mind at the moment.

Bonus: Any toy I used that is about to run out of battery.
Oh man, I used to HATE it when a toy would have a low battery and the noise would get distorted. D: I once had a coin bank that made noise when you put a coin in it. One time I decided to put two in there at the same time, they both got stuck in there and the bank kept making the same noise for AGES, and it eventually got all warped. My mom had to hide it from me since I was so freaked out over the disturbing garbled sounds it made.

I used to be afraid of programs booting up. Because i used to pirate games a lot as a child, i was always afraid that everything was embedded with a virus or scareware.
I remember being so scared that i had to walk out of the room after opening a program, wait a minute and re-enter to check if my screen didnt have any spooky pop-ups lmao.
I only had this with programs that would go into fullscreen at start up.

Oh and I was also afraid of phones going off in the middle of the night. Certain ringtones scared me more than others.

Worms. I actually I think still get freaked out by earthworms when I see them after rainy days. Parasites are a given as to why though.

I remember an episode of the GI Joe animated series, where all the characters were melting and formed this big blob. I think they were actually some kind of clones of the actual people, but I never actually watched the follow up episode because it creeped me out that people melted.

I also had a fear of spontaneous human combustion, and things like sinkholes and quicksand.

Sparks jumping from a chainsaw cutting into a tree from Ferngully. I was even afraid to look at the vhs case for the film, even though it just sat on top of a china cabinet in the living room.
