What's the pettiest reason you've removed an artist/writer from your watch list?

What DOES my username mean...?
Lately i've been removing artists because of their recent notifications cluttering my inbox. -that's it. For instance, a while back i unwatched someone for re-uploading the same "Now Streaming!" banner and nothing else for a month and a half.

i unwatched someone else because they've been posting inflation stuff exclusively for the past few weeks. i don't find it offensive per se but it's just not my thing. i started watching the artist because of their character designs and style. At the time there wasn't a single fetish in sight. As SOON as i started watching they started pouring all their talent into inflation stuff and morbidly obese characters.

in short: i unwatched them just to clean up my daily notifications.

I once did an unwatch spree because I wanted to use furaffinity like a social media where I only "watch" close friends

I later realized that socializing in FA is like trying to find a cure to HIV, it was hard and near impossible.

So I just ended up +watching porn artists again, though my FAV is restricted to art made for me by friends

Animated avatars of butts, bewbs and/or obvious humping will get you ripped right off my watch list.
-Which doesn't really make sense, considering the typical art in my watch list but for some reason trashy avatars are so much more...trashy.

Now, I can handle a LOT of cringe, but this cringe? No.

I've seen a lot of shit with my 15 years of surfing the net(and the deep web too, for that matter). Lets just say that I prefer sitting on 4chan. For a week. :V

I didn't just unwatch any artist, they were my favorite of all favorties artist and I adorded them like my senpai. One day though, they turned MLP crazy and every single art piece after that was anthro style MLP. I waited for over a year in the hope it was just a faze, but sadly nope. With a heavy heart, I had to unwatch them.
I recently checked in on them (its now been 2 and a half years) and sadly they are still MLP crazy.

This. So much this. Especially when the same, or nearly identical, YCH images keep showing up at the top of the new submissions.

I'm tempted to leave shouts on their pages explaining why they're being unwatched, but I'm not looking for drama.

The pettiest reason I've stopped watching someone... they razed themselves to the ground over a petty reason themselves? I'm not usually in the habit of watching dead accounts unless the former owner left it as a calling card, and those that don't already do most of the legwork for me.

Granted, being able to filter out the types of notifications you receive from the people you watch on an individual basis is something I really like about DeviantArt, at least compared to the potato that is FA.

i don't know HOW it happens but i ended up watching several artists that'd only posted YCH reposts drawn by other artists. There's a surprising number of artists who buy bases drawn by actual talent and re-color the same image over and over with different colors for different buyers. How hard is it to tweak the hue on a couple of Photosho layers? Apparently juuuuust "hard" enough to charge $5.
