....I like youI don't have a paying job yet, but you can call me The Enforcer.![]()
Library Service Specialist; I work at a large University Library. It's not bad, but doesn't pat the best. But it's a nice setting, and I have access to all the collection, remote access to journals and databases, and can get pretty much any book via ILL (Interlibrary LOan) that we don't have, free, as a benefit. So it's been a great way to read stuff I'm curious about, without spending a small fortune.
I volunteer at an animal shelter down here when I can x;Also a student, but I lifeguard during the summer.
Way to spew the company line, there! xDI work at a grocery store up in New England in the grocery department. I close because I am a school student, and work long Saturday's(to which my days off are Sunday's ^^ Tuesday nights and Thursday nights)
Basically I stock the shelves on Saturdays like a full timer but my favorite is closing, because I love pulling things forward and making my store look very nice <3 plus we dress pretty fancy in suit- like attire.
I have a complicated story with my job but my current manager after taking me into his department is AMAZING and I'm so glad to have him and proud to work for him, I really aspire to him in many ways, because I never had much of a father figure in my life either(rip long story). He gave me insight that I'm practically a manager or at managing status, because of how well I've been working. My idea of working is not through authority, but working as a team to get the job done!
I love my job greatly and am proud for what I've accomplished~

I sit in my office from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM fixing, both, hardware and software problems on smartphones.
It can get boring sometimes when there are almost no cases and it feels like you're getting paid to watch videos on YouTube, but sometimes there is plently of phones with weird stuff going on them and thats when it gets exciting. Most of the time I sit and watch videos and my boss doesn't even care.
Heheheomg i am jealous

I wanted to be a Telecoms Engineer and that was my perfect dream, traveling around the world, learning about networking systems and how to fix them. I still want to learn how to*speaks in a sweet Italian voice* We're not so different you and I. You fix advanced hand held communication devices. I fix very large advanced communication devices. Sometimes I wish we we're in a mall or something, but most people send their phones to a store which sends them to us, so we almost don't get to see customers unless they come to pick their phones up once fixed. Oh, and you don't want to be in this office, its always soooooo cold, I have to wear 2 hoodies![]()
That sounds reeeeaaally nice, but I like somewhat hard chairs, they force me to sit straight and its good for my back. We do have a lot of customers but we don't interact with them a lot, and thats what I'd like to do, talk with the customer see what the phone has, hear his story. And once the phone is fixed see the face of satisfactionYou want customers? I'll give you lines of customers as far as the eye can see. I could give you the softest office chair in an office at *whispers in his ear* room temperature...
I hate that part of my job too. What makes it suck even more is that I have to be in my ice box for 24 hours at a time ;_;
