Where to find a girl that is like this?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not desperate or anything Ive gone out with plenty of people unfortunately. I have yet to meet a single person that is like me, an optimistic anime, furry loving video game obsessed 17 year old hyper kid. Is it possible for a girl my age to even be like that or am I asking for physics to break here? :confused: I have gone out with people without similar interests and it all ends in heartbreak, it just doesn't seem fair. Some of you guys might think cheer up there is always fish out there, and I know that but I like cats better :D! I'm just not sure where to meet someone like that cause it's not like I am going to wander around asking girls if they love Video games, furies and anime because people my age tend to be a bit of a jerk and will take it a bit far in teasing. Oh when I say furies I don't mean dressing up in costumes like a mascot (Mascot outfits creep me out.) and I can be very feminine, the fact I love ouran highschool host club is an example.

Truth. Just putting it out there. FAF isn't a dating website. And your first posting sounds like something I'd find on a personal's ad.

Anyway don't search for people, let them find you.

Okay, first of all: Commas, quotation marks, and other punctuation that does not go at the end of a sentence - USE THEM. Your run-on sentences are horrid and makes the OP nearly unintelligable.

Secondly: There are something like 6 billion people on the planet. One of them will have the same set of interests you do, though whether they are near you, that is an entirely different story.

Third: Follow the advice of the others in this thread; let love find you while you worry about all the rest of the stuff in your life.

There's your problem. If you're serious about finding THE ONE, you better learn to be a bit more patient. I'm 23 and I still haven't found what I'm looking for.

OP, a girl doesn't have to like the same stuff as you for you to have a relationship with them. And if they all end in heartbreak, that's probably for different reasons than lack of common interests.

Hey so hows about you find someone based on their personality instead of rigidly confining your prospects to a few set interests that are going to change over time for both parties anyway and thus are not good indicators of long-term compatibility

I do look for personality but common interests would be very nice cause it's nice to share the things I love.

Also, you make it sound like your girl HAS to share a common interest in ALL your interests. I suggest breaking it down o perhaps looking for someone who shares an interest with one, maybe two of yours, not every interest.

If I based finding a girl on common interests I think I'd be shit out of luck, how many girls do you know who have an interest in toy and model cars and lego, and building bicycles?
