I'm changing my fursona to a panda - I think. I may use both. But I can only get one fursuit, due to monetary restraints. Which fursona do you guys like better - Lobo Roo or Bambú Panda?

Fur: Traditional giant panda markings in reddish brown (see above)

Hair: Black mohawk with reddish brown stripes

Personality: She's a big of a computer geek, and she loves non-anthro animals, as pets, and such. She loves to cook, too. She's really laid back and kind of lazy. She's also a pagan, her main goddess is Bridgid and main god is Kernunnos.

NOTE: She is stocky and chubby, but she is not a fat fur.

Lobo is sort of who I wish I was - while Bambú is a lot closer to who I really am. Which one do you guys like better, and which do you think would make a better fursuit?

(Note: I just want advice on this, because I love them both. I just want to see what you guys think. :) )

Nah, not enough personality. How am I supposed to be moody and bitchy if I'm a rock? ;) (Besides, grey? So blah. xD)

This is one of those things that cannot really be decided by others; this is your fursona, a furry representation of you. The last thing you should be doing is asking what others think you should be, that defeats the personal aspect, it is especially significant when choosing a fursuit that will be your real life representation of your character.

Between the panda and the roo I would go for the roo, their anatomy is more present and they have a much bigger tail. But that is just my preference, your preference is what matters here.

See the thing is, Bambú is much more...me. Lobo was really what I wished I could be - he was male, muscled, and very fun. Bambú is much more of a geek, chubby, and female. I love Lobo to death - he was my first, ya know? But Bambú is me. I just hate to delegate Lobo to just a character. I wish I could have two fursonas, but they're so different from each other it just wouldn't make sense.

The partial fursuit I'm getting costs about the same for each, so I'm just having a really hard time deciding on that, too. I was just hoping for a little input on the characters from some people here before I made my final decision. (It's not going to be "Ok, that one got voted for most, I pick it" don't worry, I'm just testing the waters)

IMHO a "fursona" (kinda starting to dislike that word, but can't think of a better one for this particular situation) should be *you*; a projection of how you view yourself. It should not be *based* on your actual physical attributes, although it may wind up sharing some of 'em anyway.

A character, on the other hand, can be whatever the hell you want it to be.

Anywho, of the two poll options, I chose 'roo.

I have two characters so far, Galeru (the dragon) and Loca Roo (female wolf/kangaroo hybrid). Whichever one of these I decide is my fursona, the other one will become a character.

I couldn't agree more. :) I think it's more up to you, LoboRoo, since this is your fursona.  Just listen to what your heart desires before asking other people's opinions. ;)

Eh. I gave up on having a set 'fursona' awhile back. Truthfully, most characters we create reflect some side of ourselves or some aspect of our being. Similarly, our conscious self perception is flawed. I don't see that one flawed perception is going to be more valid than the combined effect of the warring facets of our desires and personalities.

That said, I also have a soft spot for roos.

Ok, even though the votes were mostly for Lobo Roo, I've ended up decided Bambú is just more who I am, so I'm going to go with her for my fursona. (The jury is still out on the fursuit, though it will probably be her as well)

I like black (Cliché I know) , but who has ever heard of a black kangaroo? So Grey is my next choice. I like to keep things at least marginally realistic. :p

I know this is a little late but there actually is a species of red panda...but it dosn't look like your traditional Giant Panda: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Panda but it's still cute ^.=.^

I know that's why I made Bambú red - it was a joke. Those little rats are nothing like a giant panda...funny thing is I read their closest relative is a skunk. They look like raccoons though...but here is Bambú now: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/496317/
